When I talked to my Dad on my lunch break, he said he had picked up my medication from the pharmacy so I should be able to start this new dose tonight. So that's good. Hopefully it will kick in soon. My dad can just say, "Put it on the card on file" and it charges my card, but it is nice when he is able to pick up my prescriptions because the pharmacy is a bit of a ways away and I am usually pretty tired after work. It wasn't ready this weekend though.

Not ready to go home from work and spend a lot of time with my sister's children. I love them but it's been a long visit already and they are still here for several days. Plus I have to get a shower. Ugh. But I need to get one.

I used the word "EEK" in a Microsoft Teams message to a coworker of mine in NY. She asked me what "EEK" was....so I said it is an expression of dismay. I count back over the many times I have used that word with her and I feel kind of silly that she didn't know what I was talking about. I'm glad she asked.

Wow, that is a lot of stuff to happen to your mom. Is your Mom doing better now? My Dad broke a bone in his back a couple of months ago and that was scary for me. It was after a fall. But he has always been like Superman to me, y'know? So it is hard when parents get older. Is MRSA like stapf? And I don't know what cellulitis is but that does not sound good! I hope she is okay.

One of the strings on my ukulele snapped. I tried putting it back on and it snapped again. Not sure where to go to get it fixed

I just bought a second set on Amazon but depending on if you have pegs or not it might be hard to fix yourself. The uke strings are softer than guitar and you probably want all the same type nygut or whatever. I thought you had two ukes?

I do, it was the big one (the tenor) which snapped, the small one is still okay, I will play on that one for now and if I ever feel up to it I’ll try to find somewhere to get the other one fixed

I was going to walk to the store today but it’s 96 degrees today. I’m probably not going to. I don’t think I can handle walking far in that heat especially on 2 APs

I’m crying. My psychiatrist is moving over to the inpatient side of the clinic in September so I’m going to have to start seeing someone else. We’ve worked together since 2016. I’m devastated. I knew this would happen eventually I just didn’t expect it today

Anyway, as for our appointment, she was kind of concerned about me going back to college because in the past the stress of it has been a major trigger for my symptoms, and I have a history of starting classes, getting stressed, the stress triggering really bad symptoms, then ending up having to withdraw or drop out. It's happened many times

Then I got my BS in Management and Leadership with an emphasis in Human Resource management. And then I got an MBA later on. It took me a long time with my illness and all but I am glad I did it. I similarly hope that your educational path will be rewarding.
Sorry I didn't see this until today

That's a lot of credits, that's awesome! That gives me hope that I can do it. I'm unsure though, because of my history like I mentioned in the previous post, we'll see though. Every time I'm so determined and feel like I can do it then the stress gets overwhelming and triggers symptoms that cause me to have a lot of mental health symptoms come back, and sometimes end up in the hospital

Hmm. I don't really have any advice. I know that stress can really be hard for symptoms. I've certainly had to take time off now and again from both school and work. Sending you hugs.

I'm crying again. It's been happening on and off since our appointment. Just keeps hitting me that the person that was there for me this whole time no matter what I was going through, was there for me right after my mom died, is gonna be gone now.

Was so stressed that I woke up twice last night. Worried about classes and an increase in work hours but I think it will work out.

Got my refill for Latuda yesterday. I’m happy. I only had enough to last me through Friday. Now I’m good for the next three months.

I have an appointment with my doctor next week I guess go over test results and see what the psychiatrist said.

Also they told me I have to go for another round of blood tests before I go have my CT scan at the end of August.

And I got my root beer float yesterday too lol.
