I’m loving having a printer/scanner/copier now. It’s so convenient. And especially helpful, now I can get accurate scans of my artwork instead of relying on phone photos of it.

Here’s a couple more

Mustachio is the best. She always makes me laugh with her antics. And she’s so sweet and loving and playful. She loves getting forehead kisses. I can tell her to come here and she runs up to me rams her forehead into my face so I can give her kisses on her forehead, she loves it. It’s adorable. I love playing with her. She drags one of her toys around the house when she wants me to play with her. She sometimes carries it all the way up into the bed or couch onto my lap when she really wants to play. She is just the sweetest little kitty. Sometimes she runs up to me and tags me when I walk by like she’s playing tag or something lol

I got my grocery shopping done. Got everything to make the crockpot pulled tangy bbq chicken sandwiches with coleslaw. I just bought premade coleslaw from the deli, it just goes on top of the pulled bbq chicken in the sandwich. I’m not ambitious enough to make homemade coleslaw. I also picked up some ground beef and thousand island dressing for next late next week when I make that copy cat sloppy joe Big Mac recipe I made before. Which was absurdly good. Idk I guess it’s a sandwich recipe kind of month. Both recipes make big batches, are easy, one is m guaranteed delicious since I made it before. chicken one I’ve never made so hopefully it’s good too. and I can just make the sandwiches all throughout each week for each recipe.

Aside from that stuff I got fruit. Bananas, blueberries and a big bag of apples. Plain Greek yogurt. 3 boxes of Kraft Mac and cheese. 4 cans of chunk light tuna. 2 large cans precooked chicken breast, eggs, butter, bread, shredded lettuce, can of black olives, and chocolate chip brownies from the bakery

I have oatmeal already, ramen, a huge jar of peanut butter (like 5lbs) , and a box of nutrigrain breakfast fruit bars.

I’m trying to make use of literally everything I can because food is so expensive and my budget isn’t large.

Mustachio is good on cat food. She has a run of cat treats coming. And more cat litter coming. So she’s good for the month. I have all my essentials.

This is next weeks grocery list , also gotta grab some coffee grounds and table salt between now and then

- [ ] Plain Greek yogurt
- [ ] Cottage cheese
- [ ] Bananas
- [ ] Apples (large bag)
- [ ] Avocados x2
- [ ] Baby carrots
- [ ] Hummus
- [ ] Broccoli fresh
- [ ] Fresh spinach
- [ ] Sweet potatoes x2
- [ ] Tuna x4
- [ ] Canned chicken
- [ ] Onion (sweet, for Big Mac copy cat recipe, already have everything else)
- [ ] Hamburger buns
- [ ] Shredded lettuce
- [ ] Regular milk
- [ ] Eggs
- [ ] Peanut butter
- [ ] Wheat bread

Idk why food is so ****ing expensive. I cut out frozen food though because it is really expensive. So I’m not buying like premade stuff like frozen meals. I’m really limiting any extras and only buying what I’m gonna eat and stuff I can use to make things myself rather than premade meals. Like I’m cutting corners as much as I can but it’s still absurd how they expect people to live on $190 a month for food. I got blueberries this week but I’m not getting them next week. Just stocking up on apples since they’re less expensive. My sister claims she and two other people could manage on $190 a month for food for the entire month all together combined which is bs but whatever.

I can say one thing though, when I get my tax return about 1/3rd of it is going towards food staples. So I can kind of get ahead a bit. I’ll be getting back (most likely around $265). So I’ll put $100 towards food (such as pantry staples and meat to put in the freezer) and $100 towards essentials. The other $50-65 can just stay in savings. I think that’s reasonable.

One frozen food I buy is the birdseye frozen sheet pan meals they are often 7-9$ and I get like three meals from them. They’re protein and veg and just need a sheet pan.

Saw my doctor yesterday. Last time I saw him I was depressed. Then I had switched to an up mood, now I feel more stable. So no med change there.

I am stopping drinking. And to help my doc gave me naltrexone. So see if that helps.

I went to the gym two days in a row and I’m feeling great and excited about it. Good habits.

Going to work on hobbies this year (video games, D&D, crochet, gym). Work on not drinking. No self harm. Keeping my mental health stable. Reduce spending, while also treating myself sometime (want tattoos and piercings).

So things are looking good right now.

Food came out good. Now I have leftovers for many days.

Just reading for a bit. When my bf finishes his guitar lesson we’re gonna watch some shows and play some yugioh TCG. I have a violin lesson on Sunday.

They’re calling for snow here too and won’t speculate as to how much.

My bf said the same thing the other day. I’ve heard it helps. I’ll have to get some sometime, maybe I’ll order some now just to have around for that purpose

Spent an hour and a half scanning old artwork I did and my mom’s old recipes, so I’ll always have them safe. Anyway, I finished the recipes. I still have one or two more of my sketchbooks to go through and scan
