Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share something that I've found helpful.

I have many issues - depression, OCD, ADD, anxiety/panic disorder, addictions and anger issues - just to name a few. I have always been into alternative medicines - especially herbal and Chinese techniques. There was an onlne sale recently where I got a couple of essential oils for a very reasonable price. I got lavender and lemongrass to start. Well, this morning I was having a lot of trouble with motivation and anger. I brough the lemongrass to work with me and just rubbed a little on my hands and under my nose. Instantly, I felt a ton of stress melt away. I'm just a little bit happier for taking that moment for myself. And I wanted to share how this helped me so that maybe it can help someone else.

There are so many oils available and they all help differently. Lavender has a calming effect and is great for the evening just before bedtime. Lemongrass is good for the spirit and helps just give you that extra "perk". To me, it also smells like springtime which is very helpful on these days of snow and no sunshine (yes, I have SAD too). Put a couple drops in a nice hot bath and it's so nice. - like sitting in sunshine!

Anyway, I hope that this helps someone. I'd be happy to share where I get my oils. When I bought them last, it was buy two get one free even...not sure if that same sale is on, but the prices are very reasonable anyway. Let me know if you are interested.

Namaste,
Misty

Yes misty hollistic medicine works well for me too. I use kava kava, lemon balm, and passion flower. Kava kava i use for stress prescribed by my Hollostic therapist. Lemon balm is good for SAD and other depressive disorders. Passion flower has worked somewhat with sleep.

I'm a vegan to so i don't eat meat or drink milk because so much meat is being recalled these days and you just cant trust what the meat and milk companies are putting in our food supply.

I'm talking anything from hormones to anti-biotics! YUK...then they wonder why people have mental disorders and sickness.
But im so glad you are finding some releif from holistic oils and herbs.

I use them alot and if u ever care to share again please feel free. I still use a little valium from time to time but not too often. If you ever have questions on anything please feel free to ask mee....thanks and take care.....ziggy1

I'm not vegan - I commend you for having that discipline! But I am striving to become vegetarian. I am pescetarian for now The Benefits of Essential Oils baby steps you know. But I totally agree - there are so many chemicals and preservatives in food today it just can't be good. I try to eat organic whenever possible.

I'd sure love to see restaurants be more aware of those of us who not only don't want meat, but want organic. It would be more expensive, but well worth it.

Ziggy, have you tried Amy's frozen meals? Not all are vegan but some are. They are all organic, meatless and gluten free. They are VERY tasty too!

Namaste,
Misty
