I told her

Well I did it...I went ahead and told my friend about my cutting. I kinda took the easy way out I guess because I was going to tell her over the phone but her phone went dead and so we talked on the computer and thats when I told her.. I thought I was going to get sick just telling her I was so wound up but she didn't freak out at all...Come to find out she has talked about this with her sister because her sister has wanted to do it as well so she kinda understands where I am coming from...she wasn't accepting of the behaviour but she was there to support me through this hard time that I am going through. I am so glad that I told her...but still feel a little guilty for putting this off on her but she did say that she could handle it...Well that's just an update...thanks for all your encouragement!

It's hard telling friends and those we care about how much pain we are in. It's as if we will taint them too.

I'm so glad you have someone whoo yo can talk to. It really ment the world to me when I found someone like that. I ended up telling my partnr at work. She doesn't understand but she doesn't freak out. I can talk about it or write about it and she doesn't get mad ast me. She wanted to read some of my poetry and I let her. I was so scared that she would get that 'you're a freak' look on her face...but she didn't. I am sooooo glad you found someone similar. You did a very brave thing.

Well done, It's so hard to tell somebody about this, I know how you feel. You should be proud
