Upsetting Night

I want to cut in the worst way possible! I want to rip open my arms...nobody will notice. Nobody seems to notice me anymore. My bf was watching porn and I yelled at him for it. I don't like it if he's watching it by himself. It's like he has no need for me when he's watching it. He says he loves me so much, but if you love a person I don't see why you have to look at someone else! Those women on tv are everything i'm not! Beautiful, thin, flawless. I'm fat, ugly, tainted...everything that is so unattractive! Tonight he was oohing and ahhing at me, at my body...so he says. He says he loves my body and then he goes and looks at them later? I don't understand it! He's a liar like the rest of the male population! They always freakin lie to me! No matter what the subject matter is they LIE! They ALL lie about everything!!!! I hate them all! I hate em I hate em I hate em! No woman has never done this to me! They have never lied to me as much as men lie to me!

Lexi....he is disrespecting you. This guy needs to be dumped. Every time he puts on porn, it's a slap in the face. It's degradation. Please get rid of this cretin! Thanks!

I feel much the same way you do about porn, my husband was never a big fan...but he doesn't watch now out of respect for me and the way I feel. I hope your bf can realize how upsetting this is for you, have you talked to him about the Why, in a conversation. Why he watches it, Why you don't like it, Why it bothers you when he watches it. If he does love and respect you he may take the info to heart, I hope he does.

that would be uncomfortable w/ him watching porn, espec. when you're around and have issues w/ how you think you look anyways... I agree that maybe telling him exactly WHY you are hurt could show him how much he's hurting you... saying things w/ "I" statements... how does he react? does he even care??? could he at least limit himself to watching it when you're not around???? I don't know,, it's difficutl to say dump a guy over this, but it comes down to whether he respects you or not and your feelings... has he always done this? it's one thing for him to watch porn, but you also said he lies to you...???? that's a whole other story then!! does he lie about porn or other thing? just as a side note, I know we all know this, but those women are NOT real.. I mean not everyone looks like that, the camera can do a lot of faking it, and there's always make up etc. involved.... you are in his life during the day, so maybe 23 hrs/24 but they only have him for 1 hr/24 hrs...right?
