TRIGGER WARNING. Fairly graphic.

All day and night I've had this urge. To use a sharp knife, and cut deep. To cut until there's a very open wound. With lots of blood. I usually do minor cuts and scratches with a razor blade. But this time I've got the urge for more more more. I have a couple of knifes that should do the trick. I'm trying not to. But tell me - why would it matter? Why don't I just do it? I'm not trying to be an attention seeker - I just need some support.

It's tough, i know. Im going thru smthg like that too. You cant find reason not to do so, the urge is so strong. The only thing i can say is that the longer you control yourself the better you'll feel about yourself- im just begining to realize that. Hope you can control yourself and gluck with the agonizing struggle

Thank you both. I have managed to NOT do it so far. I can't promise I won't another time, but I'm trying to distract. I just don't have that much distraction in all honesty. Going to see a friend for a drink in a little while. That will be soemthing. I guess I'm also struggling with finding reason not to. I think I'm trying not to because it's the "done thing" healthy eople don't usually do that sort of thing (hope that doesn't offend anyone!) But I'm searching for something better than that. Something that will matter more, and give me a true reason. I' probably just talking s**t - sorry.
