***********hugs***********

Never be sorry for whining. I've learned that here... people care about you and WANT to listen.

I'm sorry you're not doing well... Feel free to PM me whenever you want.

Night Owl,

Now come on, you can feel whole w/o the nasty cutting habit.

What makes you happy? What gives you hope?

Hugs,

EJ

The cutting doesn't help get rid of the void it helps create it. Say no to cutting! The more you say no the closer you are to stopping

I know how self harm can make you realize that you are human, you ARE real and not some invisible or insignificant blob going through "life."

What others have done to pull themselves out of self harm is to find a different behavior that makes them feel real. (You are real, you know, and worth trying to feel better!)

Something less damaging might be what you have to try first..and then work to something not damaging at all. You wouldn't mind, would you, as long as it had the same result: to make you feel ok about yourself?

Try and find some things that you "like" or would like to like that aren't harmful...and share with us here.... remembering that it takes at least 21 times of substitution to replace a bad/old habit cutting Can you give it a go? (hugs)

it is so nice to have a place where people are kind and understand or try to understand where you are. thank you! trying something to hurt myself less and yet feel real is a challenge we are willing to try. there are times we feel so numb and we have to try to get back that we resort to things that we know will bring us back ok said to much
