yesterday we had to cut our gum to drain a abcess, it had to be done so we did it ourself, but it started us cutting our arms again, we have not thought of cutting for at least 2 months now and only cut our gum threw neccessity, the problem is we couldnt stop there,

we now have to take antibods (penicillin) which messes with our meds so that we dont get a secondary infection on our gums which makes us drowsy and numb so we dont even feel it when we cut.

we dont know why we are doing this, we are not getting anything from it, no sense of release, we are not to stressed at the moment, we just dont understand why we have reverted back to cutting

I wish I had some words of wisdom but I have none. All I can think of is the ritual act of cutting is relieveing something inside. Maybe you are ignoring something that is bothering you? Oh I am just guessing. Know that I am thinking about you and hope you can stop soon. Please take care of yourself.

Sorry mellors, that this happened. Ok, it's done and you went 2 months!!! I'm proud of you! Now begin again... odds are you won't get another abscess... and at least the AB will keep your cuts from becoming infected too. You won't havea to take them very long and you'll be back on track.

Take care of yourself now. Don't put yourself down anymore. It just happened, and you are doing better than you had been! cutting again
