I am so confused about which way to go, wrong or right, up or dead. I am not trying for pitty or negative attention. I just feel lost confused and scared. Mainly extremely depressed if any one knows how to stop or even an idea for someone who is just wanting to hurt them selves to just feel that they are human. Please tell me? I am new at this online stuff with these postings so please forgive me if I have affended anyone.

That scares me too, that you have reached this point, please call 911, or a Suicide Hotline as soon as possible for help, we are not hooked into any sort of system like that, so no one here can physically respond.
Please hang on, you can get through this, almost all of us here have been near that point, or I confess for myself, even further than that
You need professional help, please call 911 or your local hospital, ask for a behavioural health department staff person, just do not consider dieing, please?
Take care now, and make a call to 911, get help as soon as possible !!!!!!!!!!!

Dear, you haven't offended anyone. I was just concerned by the un-edited post your first posted, it was more frightening, and only consisted of one or 2 sentences that sounded pretty much like a suicide threat, or wish, that is all.
One question, do you go to therapy? If not it may be a good idea to seek professional help, a therapist and/or a pdoc can help you sort things out, etc. You are welcome to come here and chat with us all, there are many wonderful members here and newbies, that are so supportive and fun to "hang out with", right gang?? If possible try to direct these feelings into a different direction, like substituting something safe, healthy for the the thoughts you are having, try to stop yourself for a moment, step back and try real hard to think about why you feel self destruction or injury is the way to feel human? There are ways to feel human, volunteer work, take a nice walk outdoors, visit a wildlife center, in other words try to distract yourself, I know it is hard but this is one of the techniques that has been passed to me by therapists, when I feel like I am going to have an argument even, I have learned to go for a ride or walk, removing myself from the situation, it isn't running from the problem, it is to take time to diffuse the anxiety or anger.
Just my 2 cents, please take care, okay?

Dear Littlej,
Sorry I didn't come on the boards yesterday. It was a difficult day of sorts for me. Please listen to DE. Get some help. I was severely depressed at one time and wanted it just to all stop. Medications helped with that as did therapy and group support. Coming here is a start. You have made the first step to making things better for yourself. Concentrate on keeping your body healthy. Go get some good organic grub, take a long warm shower and if necessary a short nap. Go outside for a walk. It helps me to not injure if I am in the act of taking good care of my body. I become protective of it. It is when I let the depression take over and stop consciously taking care of my body that it become easier to harm it.
Be kind to yourself,
Carrie
