So...I have been trying to keep going...trying to live each day. But, it's really not working. I go through the motions and that's all. I don't feel anything, know anything, care about anything. I am simply numb. I did start at a new therapist, she seems pretty nice. I don't know that I even want to do that anymore. I just want to crawl into a hole and die. I give up on life. I may just exsist, but cannot live...I have no way to life. No hope to live. Therefore I am only here.

[b] These wounds won't seem to heal...this pain is just too real..there's just too much that time cannot erase....[b]

Hi Dreamer: How often will you be seeing your new T? I hope she will have some good suggestions that you will find helpful. Congratulations on continuing to slug it out; I know it hasn't been easy. Warmest regards. Peanut

Numb can be okay for a while anyway. I know that when we have talked before you did have some things you would like to do with your life. Try to keep your goals in mind, even if they seem far away right now. Maybe the one day at a time approach isn't working for you. Sometimes it takes some time to get out of a slump like the one you are in. Give your new therapist some time to help you. I know that you are having to deal with a lot in your life right now. It won't always be like that - hang in there, and believe that it will get better. You have felt better than this before, and you will again.

<font color=orange>There is an easy answer to your problem that is neat, plausible, and wrong.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{Dreamer}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Just a hug because everyone else said everything I would have. Take care and know you are in my thoughts.

<font color=green>But the implicit and usually unconscious bargain we make with ourselves is that, yes, we want to be healed, we want to be made whole, we're willing to go some distance, but we're not willing to question the fundamental assumptions upon which our way of life has been built, both personally and societally.--Bill Plotkin, Soulcraft
