I can understand why it's hard to talk to someone. It really is hard. Sorry about the rubber band, maybe try something that won't potentially do as much damage?

Good for you for trying other coping mechanisms instead of SI. It's no easy task.

Good for you for trying to be positive. If it helps at all, write a letter or journal about everything on your mind right now. Emotions, problems, anything you want. Might help - it has for me in the past.

Try to take care of yourself. im trying hard

I didn't do well with the rubberband because I broke blood vessels in my wrist from it. I've found squeezing ice to be a pretty good alternative though.

That's good that you are at least trying other methods. It is really hard to talk to someone, especially at first. I'm really proud of you though for working on this in other ways.

Good luck

how can you tell if you've broken a blood vessel?
and thanx for the advice
it really means a lot for me to have support
because when im not telling anyone i know, it feels as if im in this all on my own, but knowing that i have at least somewhere to go for advice and help is really comforting

((((((((((((((((0xwaterx0))))))))))))))))))))) Maybe you just aren't ready yet to talk to someone. That is all right. I would encourage you to keep checking in with yourself to find when you are ready. It's wonderful that you are looking for other outlets. Please keep trying different ones until you find the one best suited for you. I am so happy that you are trying to stay positive. You really are doing some great things. Take care and stay safe.
