you might find more support in the self injury forum just a little hint.

I'v been cutting for 11 years now. its really hard to stop i know. i'v tried. and i'm sure its especially hard if your partner does it too. try looking in the self harm forum there are some topics at the top that have alternative things to do instead of cutting or self harming. its just a matter of building up a wall of coping skills. it takes years to do but it can be done.

All I can advise to you is to just try and try and try. I know it gets hard sometimes, and we all give into it, but whenever we have a weak moment we all have to remember that its also another chance to start again.
If you really want this to end, then you will find the power to overcome it inside, even if you cannot see it right now
