(((((((((((((((((((rosleigh))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Do you have someone to help work through this such as a t? Sometimes it is hard to do by yourself. I am sorry that you can not find another way to cope. Maybe you could look at the list on the top of the forum for ideas on things to do rather than SI. Please try and be kind to yourself.

Want to put the pain into words ((((((((((((roseleigh7))))))))))))))))

If you can't put it into words, perhaps you can draw it or paint it instead? I find that sometimes just acknowledging it like that makes the urges to SI go away.

Please try to be safe.

Thank you, muffy. I'm trying so hard to deal with the pain without cutting or burning. It's so hard.

is there a way you can just allow yourself to start writing and let words come?
at first you can just write "i don't know what to write" over and over - usually words and emotions will follow. just keep writing till you get it all out. or if that scares you, set a timer for 20 minutes.

((((hugs!))))

I'll try that. Thank you. Thanks for the hugs too. That tension is just all built up tonight and I want to scream.

sorry you're having a tough night! nothing wrong with a good yell into your pillow!!

when i was in the hospital last time with hours and hours of nothing to do, i asked for a sheet of blank copy paper and a pencil and wrote words over and over. words that described how i felt and how i felt about myself. over several days i filled up about five sheets of paper front and back. (of course i didn't show it to anyone in the hospital...or i'd be there to this day!!! Want to put the pain into words )

take care!
