Hi Jai-Jai.
Have you ever considered or ever been in therapy? That sometimes helps people a lot.
Or maybe try a distraction, like playin with a pet, going for a walk, or talk to someone.
It's really hard to get through SI and I wish you the best of luck with it.

hey thanks for the suggestions, i went through 7 years of therapy and its not cured me as yet...i'm not going anymore because once i was taken off medication for progress for bipolar i was no longer 'needing therapy'. I've found it hard for young people to get support in UK though, and it's been a tough journey so far, i think the relapses haven't really helped because they have been under...difficult circumstances.

please take what you need and discard the rest of what i am about to say....

i went almost 12 years without Si... and then some very triggering... stressors hit... and back to old coping methods... and t... i think that we have to revisit our abuse issues at different times in our lives... that when new issues open the old wounds, we need to do some more healing... i think that if si has started again... maybe it's time to revisit the idea of going back to t... for me this last bout with si... has been more extreme then ever before...please take gentle care...lyn
