Never Take This Vitamin in the Morning, Say Doctors

Oops, I just took my Vitamin D on an empty stomach--so I ate a cookie.

In summer when I am outside a lot, I don't take any vit D. Only in winter

I'm trying to get out in the sun more, too. I was prescribed the Vitamin tablets, so I take them sometime.

So hot & humid out this summer I can't tolerate being out much but my new neighbor bought 3 horses & I am caring for them while they are gone for awhile. Getting my lawn tractor back from repairs this week. Has been in the shop since fathers day so lots of mowing needs done. So will have to force myself outside more now.....bugs have been bad too in the heat & humidity. Kinda glad I could hibernate more this summer

Oh, good, I don't eat that. I was worried from the picture that it was peanut butter!

I had something happen to me that I don't really understand yet -- a stroke or something that leaves holes in my memory of things, especially memory about the last week or so. Alarming. But aside from the holes I seem to be largely back. At least during the missing time I did not forget to feed my cat -- at least he has not complained.

I am assuming they used anesthesia during your procedure? That can cause the brain to lapse in memory until it all gets out of the body. The brain is where anesthesis is focused. Maybe that is why you experienced this "after" your procedure rather than a "stroke"(?) Peoples bodies react differently to chemicals put into their body so MD's never tell us the posibilities

If you are referring to my recent cataract-removal procedures, I am having a hard time thinking about them! Did I have anesthetics? Must have, but as I say I am having a hard time thinking about them. Much of it was done by laser...

This was the procedure I was referring to where you had a sore throat for so long after from the equipment they used

I wasn't knocked out during my cataract removals, but I was given something the doc said "so I wouldn't care what they did to me." I guess it could be some kind of anesthesia or aanti-anxiety med or something. I do remember both procedures, though.

Maybe you need to check in with your doctors to see if they can explain what happened, pachy.

Expired foods get new life from budget shoppers as inflation soars, but are they safe?

My sons are bad about wanting to throw out foods that I think are still okay.

I do understand, though, that as people get older their noses don't work so well, so they might not smell that foods have gone bad. I look for things like mold and discoloring. But I might cut off parts of foods that are still good.
Thanks for this!

Yes.

(The message you have entered is too short.)

I always use frozen veggies mostly organic when I make soup. Not the high sodium content

Yes, I am. Something is definitely not right with my brain. Besides all the stuff you already know about!
