I just had to do one of those home stool sample tests!!! UGH!!!!!! Difficult to do, ("ick" factor, not technically difficult) though it's not invasive like the colonoscopy. I don't mind the procedure much since it just takes a few minutes and I'm knocked out. It's the PREPARATION that was brutal!

Sadly I'm at the age where I have to do these things. It's been 10 years already since that procedure.

Can't believe one can MAIL that back! Yeah I know it's in a triple sealed special container but still. I sure hope it's "enough" as I don't want to do it again soon. Not for another year like they claim. Hope it doesn't get lost. I don't feel like driving to the facility to drop it off. If they really wanted that, they wouldn't send mailing instructions or give you that option.

GROSS.........When I saw it in my mailbox, I thought, "Oh no....It can't be. I know it's not a COVID test since I have home tests. But it's that time......."

Guess the post office doesn't care since it was "lab specimen" and "Biohazard" on the envelope. Couldn't believe it when they first told me about it years ago, that I could mail it in.

And until I turned 40, I didn't have to do any special tests. Just routine blood tests. "Looks good." Or watch my diet.

In June I need to get mammogram. I didn't go in 2021 due to COVID.

Yep! I do like them but I like BLACKBERRIES better! I haven't gotten the fresh ones in years cause they have been way too expensive. They haven't even been on sale in forever. I get frozen ones.....

I never heard of black raspberries, just raspberries. And they are red.

If You Have These Skittles or Starburst Candies, Don't Eat Them, FDA Warns

Good thing I don't like these candies as much as a lot of others. I'm going to be upset if a warning is issued for M&Ms,

Black raspberries are something else! Not blackberries. They are black, and have a very distinctive taste. They are not easy to find, like a lot of things I like.

I looked up raspberries and read they can be either red or black. I didn't know this. I've never seen black ones, just the red. Tiny and not as sweet as blueberries or blackberries.

Produce has gotten so high, it's like this dystopian novel I read years ago called The Water Knife. It was about the severe drought in the Southwestern US....lucky me....... People were so desperate for any liquid they'd pay a LOT for a tiny basket of berries. We're not too far away from that novel these days.

I can't remember how long ago it was but I used to get a basket for 99 cents. They had them on sale a lot then. Not anymore.

But they are distinctly different, the red and black -- very different taste.

Oh...well I've never had black raspberries and if they are hard to find I probably won't taste them soon.

Definitely different flavors. Have only had black raspberries in jam but love red raspberries on lots of things & enjoy peace & red raspberry combination. I prefer the red raspberry flavor best

Seems I can't get my cholesterol "under 200" for over 20 years now. I do all the right things.

Plus the last two years had me reaching for a lot of comfort foods during isolation.

I have to take a statin drug for cholesterol. Our body makes some of it, I think. Maybe too much?
