Good information. Serious memory problems can also be caused by long-term use of certain meds.

Interesting article, Trav. Although it drives me nuts, how certain foods are discourage and encouraged, depending upon the source. I've read that drinking coffee decreases blood glucose levels

I take my prescribed meds, prescription-strength potassium, vitamin D and I have tried Melatonin, but I don't like how I feel after. I have also tried CBD to help me sleep. It does nothing. Valerian Root doesn't help. I did try ZzzQuil a couple of times. It gave me a hangover. So I just sleep off and on all day.

Prior to that, for my entire life, I would have a nasty head cold (or two) usually around Valentines day that would wreck me for week. But the moment I took the Vitamin D, this ended - forever. I have had exactly two serious colds in 12 years. And most years I don't have a cold at all. I suspect, however, sun doesn't do it. There are just too many factors to reliably get it that way. I take a supplement. There was only a blood test to measure Vitamin D approved in the 1990s. Think about it, for most of humanity we likely didn't get enough D (because we live in houses and have clothing) and didn't know we were deficient and now we can see if we are deficient and correct it via supplementation. |

I'm not taking any right now. I go in spurts where I take like 5-6 vitamins and then quit for a while

Hi, Teddy Bear, and welcome! I was the same way--sort of hit and miss. Now I'm being supervised by doctors and I'm doing better.
