I'm straight. I know that. I've been with several girls, and I think girls are attractive, but there's this guy I know... I think I'm in love with him. He's so kind and I even think he's cute. He saved me from suicide a while back and ever since then I've liked him... I just don't know what to do... Does this mean I'm bisexual? I mean, I'm still in love with my ex girlfriend, but he's constantly in my thoughts...

I think because he has meant such a great deal to you, you feel like you have very deep feelings for him. And you thinking he's cute doesn't necessarily make you gay. I'd define gay as being sexually and emotionally attracted to other men, moreso than women. Many people have same sex crushes though, that does also happen. Maybe you should just enter into some introspection and if you feel like it, speak to a professional about it. It has helped many people with confusion. But either which way, gay, straight or bi, you are a human being worthy of love. Hope you're doing fine :-)

Thanks for responding.
That may be it. That's quite a relief to me actually. I haven't told anyone besides a few online friends about it. Thank you for your understanding. I will tell my therapist about it. And I agree with the last part. I have actually been called pansexual before. heh..

Lol. I have a friend who calls herself trisexual, because she'd try anything once. But anyhow, it is my pleasure. I think the best approach is to just go with how you feel and not try to label yourself. It's like that famous quote by Dr. Seuss that says "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind".

I hate labels....my partner who is currently male, but my whole life i have been attracted to physically and emotionally to both sexs. it hasn't been oh i am looking for a male now or oh now i am searching for a female more so i look at the personality and whichever sex they happen to be well it just is. i have never felt off,odd or weird about my sexuality, never thought i t was different in any way it is what it is and it has worked for me. don't look to much into things just let it be. you fall in love or like with a personality first, you don't fall in love with the gender.
Thanks for this!

I definantly am bi and I think it is a matter of a connect thing...for me it is the inner attraction....The outter person has nothing to do with my attraction...but its nice when the package looks good...lol...honestly tho'.. ..cute won't tie me to a love...there has to be a ton of mind candy....just sayin'
Thanks for this!

I agree with Wolfsong's post. Go with the inner person first and the rest the outer package isn't really all that important. It's how you feel about that person and what you really want out of a relationship with a person.
