I see it as incredibly degrading and oppressive.

Considering how many people got fired up over whether someone masturbates while watching porn, I don't see why paying for sex would be a healthier alternative. Women in porn get paid, but it's degrading the things men do to women in porn. Women who get paid to have sex are selling their bodies to make a man feel more like a man.

Why should you personally get to decide what is okay for other people? If youre not okay with it, dont do it. Does this mean you have changed your mind regarding your fetish? Cuz a lot of people got on your case too. Sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander. People in glass houses etc.
Thanks for this!

You have no idea what you are talking about. I don't know you but you come across as quite young.

This may be the case for 'some' men but a lot of my clients crave companionship.

Before shouting your mouth, please do some research into the field in which you know nothing about.

Prostitution means that you are doing it strictly for the other person's enjoyment.

Sexual Surrogacy means that you are doing it as a learning tool for the other person.

If it's between 2 adults with mutual consent, what is the problem? The ladies I know love men and love what they do. They get treated like princesses and showered with gifts and most importantly, treated with respect. If they wasn't then the man would be told where to go which has very rarely happened.

I have seen you around being argumentative and I will not get sucked into one of your dramas. I will not comment anymore about this with a child.

You'll actually find the women 'can' enjoy it too.

I don't get offended by someone watching porn, however I will bring up the negative affects on a man's health, physically and mentally. And it has many negative affects.

Paying for sex isn't ideal either. But it is real sex unlike masturbating for hours on a screen and developing unhealthy escalation to perhaps more serious and sometimes (for some men) illegal material.
Thanks for this!

I'm not saying that they don't but the primary reason is to please the client.

And what is wrong with that? You really think a sexual surrogate get's that much sexual pleasure out of what they do?

When you pay to see a therapist it's for your own emotional wellbeing, not the therapists. Likewise a sexual surrogate is to learn about sex for yourself.

Porn isn't just an online video outlet, it's a profitable business.

It isn't seen as the most socially acceptable business, but it's a good business.

I'm sure all the women that do take part in it (and men!) don't feel degraded when they're being paid big money for having fun and feeling pleasured.

That's just my two cents, though.
Thanks for this!

I can't say I've personally heard of people being offended by people watching porn, but each to their own.

The thing with people is that we're often scared of things we're unfamiliar with or don't understand. I watch Hentai from time to time because I find it interesting because it's so bizarre, but most people wouldn't understand it and instantly vilify the person watching it because of a simple difference in taste or opinion.

I find your posts are a little confusing for me to follow...If you could clarify I would be grateful.

ETA: in regards to your feelings about prostitution...

No, you actually said you found it degrading. I actually deleted that question because I knew your childish reply would annoy me.

Grow up

Nobody has mentioned anything about porn being degrading. It does show the attention seeking behaviour of some people here that they want to cause an argument and stink up a thread for no reason.

No one said you're a ***** person, but working in the industry, I am sick of people taking the moral high ground in something they usually know nothing about. I know a lot of escorts and porn stars and they also are sick of people like you saying they are being degraded etc. It's their life and as long as they are not being harmed what right does anyone have to argue with it.

People are too quick to judge and it's annoying.

I like to hear opinions as they pertain to the original post...Or on a respectful new thread, if anyone cares to start one.

(sorry, I simply don't like to see things go this way, and I am guilty of detouring...mea culpa, OP)

ETA....(It just makes me sad)

That's sort of how a Thread goes, it takes many twists and turns.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
