I did my workout. Went to work. And am having a great birthday! (unusual for me)

Sun - have you heard of the 365 project? It's where you take a pic every day for a year and post it in an album somewhere. Pics can be of anything. Thought you might like that idea!
Thanks for this!

I reminded myself to be patient, exercised, ate properly, and reminded myself to be patient again and again.
Thanks for this!

I went to buy a new blouse for my interview tomorrow, ate dinner, and went to DBT skills group for survivors of SA.

I really appreciate reading the posts in this thread; they give me a lot of hope and I find myself imagining these wonderful steps forward that people are taking in their lives every day.

I also greatly appreciate the encouragement I'm getting here--thank you sundog and sunsetsunrise specifically, but also everyone who participates and reads, too. I am happy about your new camera, sundog, and I am sure you will have an excellent time snapping photos. sunsetsunrise, food and walking are passions of mine, so I tend to agree. I have learned to cook from scratch over the last few years, which I love, and before then (and now) I have considered myself quite the gourmand (without the gluttonous aspect--I believe in moderation).

On that note, I'm still on my food kick here. A lovely plate of homemade leftovers: mashed potatoes, mashed turnips, stuffed mushrooms, sauteed mushrooms, and cucumber salad. More veggies would have been welcome, but this was what was available in the larder.
Thanks for this!

I love food, but I have never developed a love for cooking......Walking is definitely a passion of mine though!! So are animals!!! And so are vegetables!!!!!

I'm so glad you were able to make a delicious plate of veggies today!

Well done everyone!!!!!

Even though I don't enjoy cooking very much (luckily my husband does!! And he's very good at it!) I did make an effort to cook a tasty meal for us tonight. It was a vegetable pasta bake which I've made many times before (very easy!!!) and it is pretty yummy!

After work I am going back to the psychologist to see what all my psych testing a couple of months shows. I'm fairly anxious about it. But will go anyway!

today i put me first for once! i looked out of the window, it was pouring with rain, i had a meeting booked for an hour later, 4 miles from home, i decided i did not want to get wet again, (i travel by mobility scooter which is not allowed on the bus and the nearest accessible train station is as far away as the meeting!!) so i actually phoned and cancelled the meeting!!!!
Thanks for this!

Wow, I am really impressed at what you all are doing. I went to a senior center today and signed up to be a volunteer with some of the programs for old people. I want to try to reach out some, anyway! Also, I did have lunch with a friend. I think socializing is important, and I have been isolating myself a bit.

By the way, I really like this thread, even though I don't post here much. When I am zipping through the topics, I see "What did you do right today?" and it reminds me that I need to try to do something right!
Thanks for this!

I went to my psychology appointment. I wasn't happy about the outcome but that's OK. I will NOT be a label (diagnosis)

This is just the best thread for me right now. Today I exercised and ate right, called friends to break out of hermit mode, being careful to stay more positive than not and even though I feel like I should hide out, called the doc and left a check in note (bp downswing seems to be trying to happen), took meds even though I'd rather not, fed my horses and petted them and the cat, started a blog on reminders of things to do (like track things done right!) - and... it still doesn't feel like "enough" - but I'm still working at it. Love to you all.
Thanks for this!

What a great idea for a thread. Like others, I also have the habit of thinking negatively about myself and my life. I forget to find the positive. Today, for the first time I felt motivation to get a few things done, mostly due to taking enough of an ADD stimulant, but it still counts. It was such a relief to feel a bit of energy and drive again.
Thanks for this!

Thank you, sundog. I really appreciate everything you said here. It's amazing what a few positive sentiments can do in a dark world--thank you.

I'm an epic walker, a developing chef, and love all animals. I can totally understand where you're coming from, sundog.

I had two chocolate chip cookies today. They tasted very good, but I can't recognize them as more than edibles. I'm hoping they escalate to small points of happiness again.
Thanks for this!

(((Please Help))), I am so glad you had Happy Birthday. I hope you have a good and healthy next year of your life.
Thank you everyone for posting. I always appreciate reading everyones successes.
Today I got my car washed. I went to visit a friend and got some herbs. I helped someone. I talked to my wonderful kid <3 ( thats not very hard to do ) I had the repair man come and fix my garbage disposal. yay, I do not need a new one, as my neighbor said I did. But to be honest with myself, I am not doing the new years resolutions things. I let it go yesterday when I got blindsided by my brother. Well the important thing is to not judge. Perhaps I will meditate right this very moment.
Thanks for this!

I was pretty honest with my T about things at today's appointment. I am not extremely anxious about having to see a different T until my regular T comes back. (My T is being put on bed rest due to pregnancy)
