I helped my cheating ex out with his current gf (my ex best friend). I have no idea if that's a good thing, but I listened to him complain about her and told him to calm down and not to worry about the things she said because tomorrow all would be okay again. I guess that makes me the bigger person? I have no idea what it makes me, but I wasn't hurting over him, and I'm not one to hold grudges so I did what I could.

Also today was my best friend's birthday so I stayed up till 12am and longer just to wish him a happy birthday, and then I drew him a giant picture, card thing for it! o: It was fun <3 Though I was a little late with the drawing, it took me a while to work up the energy to get around to doing it, but I managed to produce something I was proud of! ^^

I interacted with some people I hadn't met before instead of making an excuse and slipping away, which I often do. I was chatty and fully present during the conversation and I enjoyed talking to them and felt energized and more confident afterwards!

Sundog, thats great !! I can so relate to your words.
today I got dressed and went to the store. I got the candy. What did I do right? I didnt eat any What else did i do right? I took breaths. I moved my arms and legs. I smiled. I cried. I laughed. Perhaps these all are things I did right.

Today I pooped

I know, I know, that isn't such a big deal,

Except for me right now. I spent 4 days in the hospital last week due to a partical bowel obstruction from past surgery adhesions - scar tissue inside - and constipation). I am figuring out a very high fiber diet and with all the extra whole grain, I'm a little stinker!

NO, make that a really big stinker. eeeeeuuuuuuwwwwwww.

So now, any day I poo, I've done something right.

Again, thank you Sundog for starting this thread, and being such an important part of the heartbeat of it. Beholden, I too form adhesions. Just different locations. I am glad for your success.

I wrote in my gratitude journal today. I started it yesterday ( yet again). So its been two days. I tried to be more positive. And ask for help more often. I noticed what I do right without even trying. eg: I walk and talk and do many things right. Even without trying.
Thanks for this!

((((((Beholden)))))) I'm really sorry you were in the hospital last week That all sounds so very painful. I really hope you're feeling better now and I'm very glad to hear that everything is working again!!! Take care!

((((((((((sunsetsunrise))))))))))))) You are doing so much right! And I love how you are including the things that our bodies tend to do right automatically, such as breathing and moving. It's pretty amazing when you stop and think about it......We are walking miracles!!!!!!!! I love that you started a gratitude list too. Well, I am grateful for YOU!!

Today I emailed my doctor and asked to be referred to an Ear/Nose/Throat specialist because of my ongoing sinus issues. The doctor made an appointment for me for next Monday and I'm really glad about that because this constant congestion and the sinus headaches are getting old!! Hopefully the ENT guy will have some answers!

I also changed all the sheets on the bed today and it's always nice to get into fresh sheets so that will be nice. In fact, I'm about to get into them very soon!!

Hugs to all

Thanks all for your kind support.

Yeah, we do need to be grateful that our bodies do so much right stuff for us each minute!

I guess now I'm a member of the super duper pooer club. Yes, it was very painful, but also embarassing to have to have enemas, use the bed side comode, and have the male nurse watch me "go" and all that entails.

Today I got up.

I ate a high fiber breakfast.

I worked and am still working on my food log/diary.

Plan to do list for today.

Must remember to get more toilet paper for the down stairs bathroom

clean up kitchen a bit
make soup
clean the fridge so I can plan my grocery shopping

opps, that list needs to be in reverse order, so I use up the stuff in the fridge to make the soup! Then clean it all up. for sure. Happy days!
Thanks for this!

So sorry you have trouble with constipation ((Beholden)). I have trouble sometimes too, except not so severely. I found the very best thing that helps me in 'Kellog's All Bran Buds' Cereal. It has a whopping 10 grms of fibre in only a 1/3 cup cereal. If you eat this everyday, I bet this will help you.

So far to day, the only thing I've done is get my kids off to school and help out here at PC.

I went and voted this morning. That's my do-right for today!

I slept in. The klonopin my dr gave me is still messing with me every now and then, so instead of me waking up when I should have, I let my body to the talking and tell me that it really wasn't ready to get up.

I made myself a good lunch (chicken &noodle soup and a salad, apple, and some peanut butter), and I got towels in the washer.

Doesn't sound like much, but I feel happy with that!

Hmmm I went to physical therapy (and didn't leave in the middle because of the tremendous pain) ... went to pain management doctor ... didn't overreact to a less than complete letter from my attorney... and persevered in voting. Whew. Big day.

JD I am sorry you are in so much pain
Today I got up at a reasonable hour, for me. I went out to do grocery shopping. And I finally returned that heater to Costco !!!!! I Called someone before I left the house, to ask her if she wanted anything at Costco. She told me no, but to stop by. So I did that. And I sat and listened for a long while. then I went home and started to make my chicken stock. It takes me 3 days to finish it. With any luck, I will do some laundry before the night is done. I breathed and walked and talked and looked through my eyes and many other things that are quite good to do. with any luck I will take what missingmyoldself said, and will wash my clothes tonight.
Thanks for this!

Sunset, I'll be lucky if I can remember to put those towels in the dryer!! I'm AWFUL at remembering that, and then I end up washing clothes 2 or 3 times sometimes!!!!

I slept in (which I really needed). I went to rehearsals and danced for 3 hours. While I was there I helped in the costume shop. I called my mother.

Missingmyoldself, thank you for posting. your last post about the laundry did finally motivate me. I had to laugh when I went to put the wet clothes in the dryer. It had clothes that I had not emptied from the last time I used it.... a couple of weeks ago. Nice suprise to find clean and dry clothes I didnt know about
That was yesterday. Today I went to healing clinic. I helped someone a bit on the phone before I went. I tried to notice things that are good in my life. I went to buy water. I offered to help someone to try alkalizing drops for her Reverse Osmosis filtered water. I used my lungs, heart, and all other parts of my body. This is some of what I did today that was good. As always, thank you Sundog for this lovely thread. And for how you so lovingly tend to the garden of people who post here.
Thanks for this!

^ Thank you ((((((Sunsetsunrise)))))))) Well done for all the very many things you - and everyone - are doing right every day!

Today I took some phone calls at work and engaged fully with the person on the other end. I don't like the telephone at all and typically I avoid phone calls and try and deal with everything by email. Today I made myself take the calls and it really wasn't that bad at all!!
Thanks for this!

That's great Sundog!!!!

Today, I got the voicemail message while I was still sleeping that my new glasses came in. I got my shower and dressed in record time, because I'm a goob and I get so excited about new glasses! They're so lightweight and feel great on me!!

Tonight, after work, another load of laundry, unless I twitch my nose or talk to my invisible laundry fairy friends and ask them to help a sista out....

Today I tried on winter clothes to see what fit. I went to rehearsals. I cleaned the kitchen and all the trash cans. I did laundry... and I decided to go out of town (tomorrow of course).

yay sundog. Great job. Missingmyoldself, you did laundry again? wow I am so very impressed. Glad you got your new glasses !!! Kitty, you sure did a lot !!! wowie.

I did not do much at all today. But I did put the summer tops in the back of my shelves and put the winter tops in the front. One closet is just shelves for sweaters, handbags and such. Other than that I did the usual breathing right. Although I would suspect that a pranic breething practitioer might disagree with my assertion that I breathe correctly. And the PT person did say I walk totally incorrectly. I type very nicely though

sunset, I ALWAYS do laundry!!! My husband and I are bad "layers" wearers, so we have a little bit more clothing than normal people LOL

Today I woke up. good . I managed to keep my eyes open. good. I forced myself to go for apt with the homeopathic pdoc which I always dread. good. then I got laundry detergent and a hot water bottle to keep me warm at night. good good. And I tried my best to tell myself continually that today would be a good day.
Missingmyoldself, i too wear layers, I live in a very cold climate. So layers are essential for me.

Good going everyone!!!

Well done for being able to wear your red dress!!! (((((((Susan))))))

I cranked through quite a bit of work this afternoon and took care of some pesky things that I've been procrastinating about. I also tidied up one section of my desk (the rest is still chaotic though!!)

Wishing everyone a good weekend

Yay to everyone having a good day!

I drove to the mountains today by myself (about 5.5 hours away) for the first time since being diagnosed with bp 3 years ago. I did not have a panic attack. I did not flip out when I passed a cop with his lights on. I had a good trip...sang most of the way :-)

I packed before I left and haven't figured out anything I forgot yet. That's a big plus. It's been a good day.
