Yay!! to everyone's accomplishments. They inspire me to keep trying to do right. Despite a poor night's sleep, I went to the alanon mtg. this a.m. and joined folks at the cafe afterward. Took Sherman to the dog park, this time using the basket muzzle I've been resisting putting on him. At least he couldn't eat dog poop, though seeing him trying to pick up a stick was both comical and heartbreaking. I returned a pair of pants at a store. It'll be progress when I can let myself buy clothes. I get physical symptoms whenever I go into a store (IBS-type). Sorry for straying.
Thanks for this!

(((everyone))) congratulations on your do-rights!

Today I let myself sleep in (till 3 pm!) because I believe in listening to your body and my body was saying "I'm sick, let me sleep." Then I threw in a load of laundry and dishes and went and got a massage...it was AWESOME! First one in 2-3 weeks. Came home, rotated the laundry, sprayed my whole room with an essential oil disinfecting blend and plan to continue doing laundry. My mom's coming over in a bit to help me look through my "ratty" clothes. I am going to try not to snipe at her.

Yesterday I helped a friend register for PC because I thought they could use the help. I also let them use my computer because they don't have the internet. They liked it Everyone was very welcoming. It was so nice to see my friend's face light up like that over the welcomes. So yay to me and yay to you guys!

Yesterday: went to work, went out to dinner with a friend (it was so nice to see her and talk), took a bath, spent time with my BF.

Today: helped girls finish their Valentines for their dad, took girls to a carnival, made supper, did dishes, got some fabric to make a blanket for our niece, Skyped (online video chatting) with BF's bro and family (girls LOVED it), am finally sitting down.

YEAH for all the other great do rights

I made pasta salad for pot luck tomorrow at church. Ate subway leftovers for lunch. Stayed in jammies all day. Did not do anything that was planned, just relaxed.

WELL DONE ALL!!!!! You guys rock!!

I spent a lot of time outdoors this weekend. The weather was wonderful and I wanted to make the most of it because it's supposed to rain all next week. Went on a couple of really long hikes with the dogs and was outside a lot in the backyard reading and doing some straightening up and also just sitting, enjoying the moment. It was a good weekend!

Hugs to all

What did you do right today?

To everyone on their achievements!

Yesterday I made it a point to spend extra time outside (it was so nice ). I did the dishes and finished up my laundry - all put away and everything. Then I babysat one of the kids I usually have during the week so her parents could go out for valentines day. We played for a bit, I made dinner, I gave her a bath (with oatmeal and chamomile because her skin was super dry) put lotion on her and put her to bed. I talked with a friend and apologized for some nasty things I said Saturday night.
See the post about that here:
http://forums.psychcentral.com/showthread.php?t=173540

Today I got up on time, was pleasant and fished the (insert expletive of your choice here) out from underneath my headboard - and it's not even noon. Hopefully more accomplishments are coming today. Oh, and Happy Valentines day to everyone!

What did you do right today?

Being 52 degrees today in Massachusetts, I couldn't resist a loop with Sherman around the trails. I had my wood stove chimney cleaned and bathroom was finished with painting (not by me). I joined a group at a restaurant in town. It was a lot of fun. The day turned out much better than it began and better than yesterday. Here's something totally unrelated:

I took my son to the doctor and together, the doctor and I explained to my son that Residential treatment would be his best option. It is breaking my heart, but logically, I know it needs to be done.

I had a first chiropractic appointment, had phone conversations with several friends, talked to my brother for the first time in several months, and puttered in my sewing room/art room, though I'm still not creating yet. I exchanged messages at PC with various friends.
