I accepted a friend's invitation and went snowshoeing this afternoon with a group of women in beautiful woods, then warmed up in a charming 1700's house. Brought my dog to the vet this a.m. for poor appetite issues, possibly parasites. I did a little yoga/stretching. My back was grateful.

Gee, I was going to say that I got up, showered, dressed, and went out to eat and shopping with a friend, but Lavie has me beat! But I'm still going to take pride in what I did. Sometimes I stay in all day and don't even change out of my nightclothes.

Today, I wrote for the 21st straight day on my blog. For the first time, in a very long, long time, I actually did something and held myself accountable to it. It feels like a life-changing moment.

I helped someone with their meds, contacting the pharmacutical company re:
discounted drugs...it was like the old days when I worked and assisted people.I really miss that so much!!!

I made it through 2 panic attacks without taking meds. Was able to avoid wrecking my car on the snowy roads and made it to work. Went through non-violent crisis intervention training and passed. Went to DBT Skills group.

Congratulations to everyone on your efforts!

Today I babysat and tried to be in a good mood even though I'm sick and the kiddo's sick (thanks kid). I also got the phone call that I got accepted to the natural medicine school I applied to last week...not really something I did but good news to share

That is great Kitty!

So I went to my domestic violence support group (has been tough on me), been making supper, I went and got some clothes today (I've gone down 2 sizes! ), heating up leftovers right now, taking care of a sick BF, playing with the dog, stood up for myself with some student loan stuff I've been going through. Some of these things may not be do rights.

But way to go to everyone else

Admitted to doctor how poorly I'm doing and trying different meds (again) Also, came up with a crisis plan with doc who is completely aware of my fear of psych wards and agreed to admit me to medical unit if things get that bad (okay, so most of this was my doctors doing)

Congratulations to all of you for all that you're doing! Payne, to set the record straight, yesterday's fun was definitely an aberration. And, I sometimes don't change into bedclothes, or again the next morning, not that I'm competing for the world's worst dressed depressive award. Today, I had a therapy app't in the a.m. and acupuncture in the p.m. I briefly walked my dog, and got a call from a friend. Watched the baby hummers on web cam. Not much else. I'm concerned about some health issues with my dog, and how to afford his care.

Wow!!!!!! These are great achievements!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job all!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Staples and bought some things to help me organize my desk at work better. It is really disorganized and the chaos is weighing me down! I also made an appointment to get my hair trimmed and re-highlighted tomorrow. And, I finally heard back from the naturopath's office and I have a free 10 minute telephone session booked with her for tomorrow to see if we are a good "fit"

Hugs to all!!!!

I so relate Payne and lavieenrose... I live in my jammies; so much that people have actually asked if I own a pair of jeans. So I had to wear jeans the next day or two to prove that I did.

And Congratulations to everyone on todays do-rights

I went to Team meeting at work. Got my tire fixed (screw in it). Rescheduled a dr's appt because of the tire. Treated daughter's head (getting lice from her father's house). Made it a goal to get ahold of an attorney tomorrow.

I was resisting going to the state Dept of Children and Families to review a record for a juvenile court investigation. I asked myself "What would a grown-up do?" My sewing room was sunny and beckoning to me. Instead, I went to review the record. I began the day ramping up depressing thoughts of deprivation. I then had the thought to re-focus my thinking upon a sense of possibility, of achieving at some future point, some of the things I want. I tried to turn over to the Universe my longing for more financial and other stability, more pleasure, more intimacy and love. I took care of 3 or 4 errands too.

Good for you, Lavie! Well, my T gave me a list of "pleasure activities" last week to help me to help keep me from getting depressed, so I definitely worked on some of those today. I read a book for enjoyment, for example. But I also looked after myself by going to my ENT, because my heartburn and indigestion were kicking back in. She put me on a new drug. Then I went to Starbuck's with my son James after he got home from school, and we walked around the mall. He plans to have a friend over for the night, so I've also done some house cleaning! I definitely feel a sense of accomplishment today! Yet another day I at least didn't stay in my nightclothes all day....

I called my friend on her daughter's birthday. We really aren't the "phone" type of friends but I'm sure she still appreciated it! Tomorrow, I am going to the birthday party.

Congrats on everyones inspirational do rights. no matter how maxi or mini they may be.
Today I did not react to someone who tends to be harsh under the guise of being truthful. I went to the post office to mail the last valentine I had to send out. And I did not cry once so far.

Yesterday's Do Rights: I cashed my first paycheck in 8 months. Went shopping to buy some tops to wear for work. Spent more than I wanted, but it felt good at the time. Spent the time shopping with a good friend.

Haven't been up long enough to have do rights right now.
