Well - I went beyond myself and gave some important information to a neighbor. I didn't want to be the one - BUT I stepped out of my safety zone. I believe it shall help an teenagers innocence remain.

This morning my 8 yr old daughter was sad, saying "no one cares about me". I don't know what upset her but she was even teary eyed, so I sat her down in the bathroom with me while I curled my hair and she waited for her bus. I spent a good 10-15 mins at least talking with her about all the different people who care about her and LOVE her. I listed a few, along with reasons why, then I asked her to think of a few. She felt better immediately and went to the bus with a spring in her step.

Thanks for this!

Was well prepared for a meeting with a prospective customer. Meeting went well. On another front, didn't hit the "send" button. While VERY tempted to send a "nasty-gram" email to someone who has not responded in days, I instead sent an email to a friend explaining my thoughts and then called him to get his advice.

t.v again with my elderly 101 year old neighbor..of course I do this six days a week. I also fixed her radio today and her air conditioning and walked her to the senior ctr...LOL.......You know my way of thinking is this......she needs help and I don't want to find her dead one day and realize that I could have done something for her the nite before and said "no".....

Great job!!!! ((((((((All))))))))

I answered three emails that had been sitting in my inbox for a couple of weeks or more, unanswered. They were personal emails from friends just wanting to catch up. I often tend to procrastinate about replying to these sorts of things. I think it's because I want to write a cheerful update and I feel like I need to wait until I'm in a good mood in order to do that, otherwise it's a huge effort (then again, even writing a depressing update can be a huge effort!!)

I wasn't in a good mood when I replied earlier, but I was tired of feeling guilty for not replying sooner. Also, I don't want to lose touch with real life friends. Anyhow, replying to these emails did make me feel better, so that was an added bonus!

Well, it was yesterday, but still counts! I met a friend at a a cafe and we browsed a boutique and a chocolate shop (I more than browsed the chocolate) before we went to a meditation group. Afterward, I splurged on a burger and fries, a rare (no pun intended) treat. Today, I enjoyed some creative time with an art project, picked up groceries and a prescription, messaged friends here.

a psychologist once told me that at the end of the day, it is good to talk about the GOOD things that happened during the day

It is even better to continue by talking about the good things to come in the next day

I had forgotten. Thanks for bringing that thought back

I worked out and sent the two emails I was fearful of sending but sent anyway. I am being extra kind to my wife who has to go in for some medical tests tomorrow. I got down on my knees and prayed.

I woke up much earlier than usual, I took a 20-minute walk around the hospital. I'm also planning to take two more 20-minute walks around the hospital as the day progresses.

I've been having a hard time with thinking I've done anything right. I have managed to go walking almost every day this week. And go to work. Besides that not much.
Thanks for this!

I listened to rock and roll music for the first time in I don't how long. I haven't allowed myself the pleasure that music brings because I have been in a bit of a funk for a while now but I'm starting to feel more optimistic about my future so I thought I would "treat" myself.
