Got out of bed.
Went to do an important errand.
Paid my rent for March.
Ate a hearty lunch.
Visited a fitness center and gave serious consideration to actually joining.

Well, I didn't decide to drive my car into a tree. Does that count?

Woke up at 5:30 a.M. feeling well rested.
Spent only 1 hour and 15 minutes talking myself into actually getting out of the bed.
Had the kettle on the boil before 7 a.m.
Turned on the News.
Began working on my plan to get myself to a fitness center and go use the pool. (Currently making a list of stuff I need to bring; it's been awhile since I've done this.)
Have gotten myself psyched to be starting my regimen of physical rehabilitation, needing, as I do, to recover from having become a semi-invalid from staying in bed depressed for the past month.
Am cultivating a whole new positive attitude.

What did you do right today? Part 2

Yesterday I actually went to the fitness center and spent 2 hours in the pool. I have gotten so depressed that I feel like I'm fighting for my life. I literally have gotten so deconditioned that it is hard to do simply everyday things. I decided I needed rehab. I happen to love being in the water. So I went and did it. The gold star above is what I'm giving myself. I think going to that pool may actually save my life. Everyone there was so nice. So I did this yesterday, but I am putting it here because this is the most credit-worthy think I've done in a long while. I won't go today, because I'm a bit sore from the exertion, but it feels good.

My goal is to go back tomorrow. I can't hardly believe I actually did this.
Thanks for this!

I went to school with a positive attitude(for once in my life!). Although my negative side showed itself a few times, I still had an easy breezy smooth day.

For the first time en toto: I asserted myself at work, communicated well and ended the convo on a good note.

But it's also the first job I've ever had where my bosses (C-level Execs) aren't trying to work me too death with unrealistic expectations

Woke up pretty early though I only have 2-3 hours of sleep, washed the dishes and tidying up the kitchen. On to draw something for this day!

I am being given the lead position at work tomorrow for the first time. I am alone without a supervisor for half the day. They have faith in me!

I got started in working with a law office to apply for SSDI. I almost wanted to say "never mind" and just get off the phone. But I can't keep sitting on the fence.

Got a job. (Full time for now, which I've never managed, so a bit nervous about that.)

Practiced Yoga (again!), read up on my DBT, showed my husband love and affection, and took a few deep breaths.
