I woke up and started work on time....at 6:30 in the morning. Didn't run in to any traffic (dogs or cats) during my commute up the stairs, but did have an accident when my coffee spilled. Now, if I could somehow actually be productive instead of in front of the computer all day.

I went to massage school. I also took a 2.5 hour nap! Then I played piano, talked to friends and my dorm head. I haven't gone to sleep yet though...!

Pfrog has written President Obama and her two State Senators regarding her concerns over all this gun violence ... I usually don't do stuff like that, but this is really bothering me.

It felt good to put my concerns into words ... It may not change anything, but just stating it to people who could effect change helped to remove some of the feelings of powerlessness I feel over it.

Thanks for this!

I went to work. I made myself a hair appointment (generally helps me feel better). I fed the dogs. and I tried to call for help. I called a local psych hospital to see about enrolling in their outpatient program. Unfortunately, they are currently "out of business" whatever that means.

Took out the trash in time for them to take it away.
Washed some dishes. There's still a lot more, but I'm chipping away at it.
Took the dogs out and fed them.

Built a beautiful fire and have kept it going all day long.

The last of the embers should be done by bedtime ... Perfect!

Filled up my car with gas before it gets colder out.

I slept (I've been fighting a cold). Unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, cared for three children, started laundry and picked up a bit. The house has been severely neglected so I'm working on clearing away the clutter and just making everything neat and clean.

I made a great salad from arugula, different lettuces, kumato tomatoes, kiwis, purple onion, salt, sunflower oil, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. I also forgave myself for lack of cleaning skills.
