Well, it was the other day in combination to today--

I wrote and said an simple solution to the nagging problem, not to my supervisor though- to whom it would need to be approval of for the purchase.... (Some one higher than supervisor)..

It is a good thing-- Instead of me spending another second of boggling my head with this stupid thing-- I stepped up and just asked for what was needed.. Instead of "fighting" with my supervisor on how wrong she is, i took another route to fix the problem...

it is such a trivial thing, a really small thing... so nothing big... thus why is the supervisor making it so big~ who knows.. but beauflow took that leap and asked.. and not only that-- I got an A-Ok for getting it fixed.. and one will be coming soon!

Today I woke up worrying about the mistakes from Monday. Had to deal with the same person again but I handled it better even though he spoke to me very slowly like I was a three year old needing direction.

Got two assignments done within a day of being requested. That felt good not to procrastinate.

sorry again this was not today-- but a few days ago I gave a bear that I had made to sell that did not sell, but I gave a co-worker their choice of what I brought in, so they could give it to a family member that is going through a tough time. I know the co-worker thanked me, but that was not the point of me giving them the bear... It is just a really sad story that I heard that this person is going through, and even though I don't know them, will never meet them-- I wanted to give them something for the struggle they are having to bear right now... never too old for a bear

I guess today-- I have done well with Flow...

Updated all my pending work in the morning and took the afternoon off to enjoy a matinee. Only worried during it for 10 % of the time.

Having a "PJ" Saturday. My day to just unwind. And my husband fully supports it. What could be better?

I find weekends can be really hard but the thread is about what did I do right. I did some chores and rewarded myself with reading a good book.

I let myself sleep as much as I needed. I used to feel so guilty about that (sleeping the day away). But after talking to my dr, I realize, for now, it's what I need to do.

On that note, I took a nap. I love naps, and also have learned to not feel guilty about them. My body just needs a LOT of rest it seems...

Survived Monday. Person I thought had a problem with me last week said hello to me without expecting anything. It reminded me of how often I have emphasized the bad part of the interaction instead of the good. Today, I didn't add to the list.

just woke up from a much needed sleep.

received email from someone who I was worried about.

a lot of things came up that seem like--ok distraction here so that this other news could sound a lot worst if delivered alone. But the distractor information provided cover for the other information that could be a target of arguing and too much discussion. Cover first by attacking with blaming and defensive response will make more important information escape much discussion and examination.

Have you ever seen this behavior pattern instead of the silent treatment?

I got on the elevator with 5 attractive men. I didn't run out of there screaming (after they all followed me in). I pushed the button and took my place. I looked at the Captivate screen. I made sure to keep breathing. I made it to my office without fainting.
