Got some chores taken care of yesterday so I can REALLY have the weekend off ... gonna do some fun things now.

Woke up unusually early but feel real good about it. Getting ready for shower and then grocery store. I just finished getting my coupons together and a shopping list of needed things. I figure I can nap this afternoon with a movie playing after I return from the gym.

Got up early (always, can never sleep in) ... Prepared some nice beef (muchly needed protein) for lunch ... Emptied the dishwasher ... About to walk to the corner for the mail.

Traveling west back toward Eden (interestingly the wise men in the Gospel account of Jesus' birth came from the East), has been full of confrontation with the trials and tribulations of living outside the Garden. She is an artist without doubt disappointed that paradise was not as close in 1969 as she and so many others hoped it was. Her work is now filled with the reality of humanity's failure to achieve the prophetic dream of her song, but never without the hope that that day will yet come. |

Forgot to do laundry, go to the gym and get groceries. But I did shower like I do each day and made lunch.
It's hard to avoid responsibility!

I emptied the dishwasher (an onerous task for me).
And I managed to pull together a tasty dinner, unchallenging, nothing fancy or complex, well balanced. Yay for me.

I just started in a new job this week and noticed someone who was being bullied by others. I met her in the hallway today and told her what I'd seen and offered my support. She seemed very grateful that someone had recognized it.
