No cigarettes, that's not the main bit though because i've done no cigarettes a few times recently. The best part was not even thinking about cigarettes. Sometimes i go the day without having one but i think about it but don't do it. Today i realised i hadn't thought about or wanted one.

I have started listening to audio books, for the first time in my life. The book is Lolita, read by Jeremy Irons. He does influence me in that his take on the book, via his using his voice the way he is, is that it is a parody. Probably if I were to read it in print, I could form my own opinion, taking it a bit more seriously. But still, it is great, and I no longer feel that the time in the car is a complete waste.

I swam vigorously for the best part of an hour. Husband timed me doing 50m. It took < 2minutes. That's about 2 seconds per metre, but that's okay. I'm not a beam of light, after all.

I wish I could do that... you probably know freestyle, and I only know (incorrect) breaststroke...

I was swimming on my back and doing what I could with my arms in an oar-like motion. I don't even know what strokes are called, so I think you're ahead of me. I swim a bit on my side, but I realized today I don't do it right, because my neck got stiff. There are tricks with breathing and coordination, none of which I know yet.

I went to my hypnotherapy session. We discussed all the things i have managed to get right in the past week and also discussed the things that didn't go quite so well but managed to put the failures into overall context with the things i got right so that the failures didn't seem so bad when taken overall over the course of the past week. Discussed goals to achieve over the next week and how to go about achieving them.

I worked hard today, came home and got my two miles in, but had to push through some shin splints. The dogs were happy about this

Went to work, was productive and only a little impatient. Ipod to the rescue when my idiot tolerance ran out. Came home, showered and organized (getting quite close to having our very small living space set up) straight through till now. Though I got really antsy at one point to hang pictures, I resisted and managed to do everything quietly enough that BF (who is sick) was able to keep sleeping. I'm going to bed at a "normal" hour! Will require medicinal assistance to accomplish, but that's ok.

I reached out to a friend. They haven't replied but that's fine, i only want them to do so if they feel comfortable doing so. I just wanted to let them we could talk if they wanted too.

I didn't smoke any cigarettes, i wonder how long i have to go before i can call myself and ex-smoker.

I did self-hypnosis session that was really amazing, one of the best i've done. It felt brilliant.

Even though I had a super off day I dragged myself out and refilled the rabbits' food and water.

I went to Costco with my rebate (I have a Costco AmEx).

The rebate expires in August. $71.

And I have already cashed it (getting wine so I did not buy anything perishable that can be wasted, as I have been known to do in the past).

Usually, I wait until the last moment with such things, creating stress for myself. I have also been known to lose the rebate coupons and then needing to call AmEx for a replacement, wasting lots of time.

It is not much, but I am still proud of myself.

Not Every Day I get to say this sooooo.....

I had asked about something about a client at work last week; I was informed that what I was seeing was nothing, and to use the most updated information.

well I just have this gut feeling, especially with name signs out for people... that what I was told was incorrect ...... So I asked again... and ya know, it was like 4am but someone called to let me know-- I was soooo right, and they were sorry that Supervisor got on me about what I asked about.

Moral of the story--- even *people who think they are always right* are wrong some times, and some times you gotta speak up and say what you think.... (She has been nice to me lately so I will remove bully )

Also another moral of the story is--- When I first was told what I saw was nothing, I was like (To myself)- They are wrong, and made the comment- I shouldn't had said anything and let the other shifts just deal with the mess... Still could have today--- Still could have-- but I did not, because that is spiteful-- and Spiteful makes my heart heavy with not so good things....

I may still get a smacking on the nose for this but ya know what--- At least one person said Good Job! Great Catch, thanks for being on top of things!

Past 2 hours, shredding paper work like old bills, credit card offers, etc. also sorting it out and just blah.... I am not done but it's a start
and that's just mine. I'm leaving my S/o's paperwork for him to shredbut sorting his out too

Hope after this round we can keep up with keeping paperwork to a minimum....
