But I got to witness drunken behavior tonight that was very similar to what I've had to put up with in the past.

"You're a lazy, worthless *bleep.* Now show me some respect or I'll make your life hell."

It kind of made me laugh because the man I knew, personally, intimately, made a point of always saying he's not like other people. If he only knew the truth. Not triggered per se....

Drunk men really scare me. Why does there seem to be so many of them? Not triggered per se....

I don't know, but I hope my son doesn't turn into one of them. I think there are a lot of alcoholics in major denial on his father's side of the family. Only they aren't physically abuse, they're verbally abusive, so they don't consider what they're doing as wrong. They just tell everyone else to "lighten up and have fun." It's not so fun watching them pick up the pieces the next morning, cry, beg for forgiveness, say that it'll never happen again, asking "did I take a shower in the middle of the night last night?" Yes, because you soiled yourself from one end and puked all over from the other.

But they don't have a problem, WE do. WRONG!!!!
