ok, new here. first time ever posting anything anywhere, so bear with me. i feel like i have been living in an emotionally (and possibly sexually) abusive relationship. he says it's all me. i've done research on the internet, and run into stuff that's like: "yes, ok, that IS happening". but then things get turned around on me, and he uses ME as the example. it's hard to laundry-list all this junk and not BORE someone to death..... I'd like to start a chat and get some feedback in real time.

Gee justjen, your post sounds VERY familiar to me. I was told so many times that I was wrong for feeling the way I was feeling, that it was ME that was the problme, even told that I was "crazy".
![]() That hurts and it's confusing. I finally went to counseling(due to severe major depression) and started to learn how it all fit together and that it takes TWO people for a relationship to struggle/run into obstacles-- NOT just one person. If you're not in counseling yet, maybe doing so could help. And sharing things here helps too, and also for me-- just reading others experiences and how they have coped has given me some insight too. wishing you the best, mandy |
