I have been gone from here----too long.I had to hide, the last time I was.My family was torturing me----i dont exagerate.
I have been homeless-last summer----choosing that,rather then get abused,again--after leaving the place--it was toomuch to stay at.It was my home---but left--and lost,alli worked for,30 years.---now have many readers,who support me as a person.www.myspace.com/darapage
I have been continuing,my writing & activism.
yet also have been, put on bed-rest--20 weeks ago.
i cant get better.I run from my past--alone
no good mental help--in this so called, healing town.
I lived here-10 years,before-
and gave so much,now get so little.because i'm disabled & poor.So I push myself,helping others & trying to make a store,on ebay---so i am not broke,3 weeks out of the month.After rent,bills & a few candles ETC. I became a buddhist--in sept.but dont have any Buddhist support,except--for good souls online.Even the buddhist's here--are phony yuppy types.
so im broken down-confused--trying to get myself well
as by myself--53 I look younger,so what.
i have lived without a husband-18 years.NOT LOOKING.
just need people, who understand--what i'm feeling & how hard it is--to get beyond it-maybe never-
im scared & alone.Even tho my daughter helps,she cant fix this.I dont even know---if i can-be fixed-
meds dont help.weed does a little.just being honest.thax for looking-if ya do.-d

We can't run from our pasts. We take it with us wherever we go. If you run, that's what you will keep doing. Best to turn around and face it, but make sure you have support when you do. Then you can start to heal.

Even though you don't have a lot of posts, I remember you.

Rap

the past is part of who we are. we can never successfully run or hide from it. i agree with Rapunzel, in order to heal we have to face it and try to come to grips with it in order to deal with it.

i know it is scarey and difficult. but there are people here that will do all they can to help you along the way.

sending you love and light,

Welcome back. You have survived so much. I don't think you need to be "fixed" (in your words) as much as you need to heal. I hope you find that here and hope I can be part of that. I will try, even if it's just to let you know that you are not alone.

be well,

mtd
