If I only knew why

In my life right now, my mother, sisters and brothers are verbally and emotionally abusing me. They have been doing this for a long time but I guess I never wanted to see it before. I don't know why but now I see it very clearly, it's right in front of me.

They are killing me bit by bit every day and I know I have to walk out, leave my family behind me. I found this really painful to do. If I only knew why they are doing this. If I could only understand.

A lady where I work is also very mean to me. She tries to get me in trouble and she yells all the time. Not a nice place to work. I often go to work crying in the morning.

And at home, hubby has anger issues and has a very quick temper. He yells too.

Maybe I will just hide. If only I have a good place to hide from all this world. I'm only talking to myself!

You don't deserve to be hurt or abused. You are the one who can protect yourself. I am sorry it'shappening. You could leave the whole mess behind and move on, you could confront everyone and tell them if they continue to speak with you in an abusive way you will leave them, You can ignore it and let it eat at you, You can get help for you so you understand in an inside way that it ain't about you, and you deserve good things. Good luck. I am sure there are way more options, just listed a few.

Even if you did know the "reason" for it, it wouldn't excuse what they are doing. And it would still be hurting you. I'm not sure what to tell you, other than that you don't deserve this, and I'm sorry that it's happening to you. (((((nightdream)))))

They sound like abusive bullies to me, pure and simple. They sound like they have big issues themselves and are trying to hurt you to make themselves feel better. I have had people like that in my life, and I threw them away, like the rubbish they are I like wisewoman's post, please take care of you,

I am sorry if this post comes over as angry. People like that do in fact make me very angry. Please take some action so that things can get better for you.

And I know what I'm going to say next means that I am worthless and stupid and it will seem as though I don't want to help myself, but I don't have the strength to fight this anymore and I have no excuses and I'm sorry to have bothered you all.

It can be so hard to stand up to people who abuse you emotionally. I went thru so much of that when I was young. You can feel so liberated and free when you finally tell these people that you're not going to be treated like that anymore. It takes a lot of inner strength for that to happen, but I know you can.

Always remember that you are a caring and loving person, and you deserve to be treated with nothing but respect. And you're not bothering anyone. You've been so supportive to people here, that's a wonderful quality nightdream. We will be here for you when you need us. What can we do to help?
