I have been having wetting accidents alot lately. I wear Depends pull ups with a Poise pad inside. I have been leaking through both of them. Is there anything I can do to stop the leaks ? Can you use double pads or what should I do ?

Have you spoke to your gp about it? I was transferred to the pelvic floor clinic at my local hospital. They can do all sorts to help.I had a lovely lady dr who helped keep me calm and reassured through out

Have you spoke to your doctor about this. There may be ways to fix this problem. Many women who have had chidren will later in life have a falling bladder and it can be surgically fixed. All the best.

sorry I don't know of any way whatsoever to stop them til you have visit with your dr. I had to have mine repaired. yours sounds worse than mine was. do not let them do the sling though. it is good on one hand but it doesn't last long. have the MMK procedure done. it is a miracle!

Please see your doctor about this - I did and I ended up having a prolapsed bladder that needed surgery to place it back into its correct position... and I also take Enablex to help control an overactive bladder.

Thanks for this!

You didn't say how often you changed or if you have any obvious problems getting to the bathroom? I would (in addition to getting a doctor's appointment) try to figure out a way to change pads/pants more often.

Try doing keigal exercizes about 30 a day. It will strengthen your mucles.
Thanks for this!

Talk to your doctor about this...could be a sign of many issues including bladder infection or a problem with the kidneys among other things.

I second this... and your doctor will recommend it as well.

My doctor recommended Keigels for me and other exercises too. She recommended that I go to a physical therapist who specializes in pelvice floor health, and I would learn to do the exercises correctly using biofeedback. She said that sometimes women think they are doing all the exercises but they actually aren't using the right muscles, etc. So using biofeedback to get you started helps you learn how to do effective exercises. I haven't gone to the PT yet, but this reminds me that I should.

FYI - they also have a new device that is inserted into the vaginal area and stimulates the walls to strengthen them - this is done via your GYN (in office) and take about 30 minutes per session - once a week for 12 to 16 weeks.
Thanks for this!

I would seek the opinion of another doctor if you are not satisfied with this doctors advice.

I think you need to find out why you're having incontinance in both areas. There must be a reasonable explanation. Have you suffered a stroke? What's the medical diagnosis and treatment possibilities??

I have not suffered a stroke that I am aware of. What can I do. So far it has the BM only happened once. Should I wear Diapers and go to the doctor?
Thanks for this!

Go back to your doctor and tell him you want to know why you're having incontinance problems and how to fix it. Sometimes women after having children have problems with incontinance. It can also happen as people age. Very often it can be surgically repaired, so you don't have to wear adult diapers anymore. I'm sure that would make you feel better. If I don't feel I'm getting a good answer from my doctor, I keep asking more questions or find another doctor. I think you need to see a urologist for this problem. I hope you find a good solution and feel better.

That's good you have a doctors appt. Roba. Write down a list of medications you're on, how long this has been happening, how many times a day and any questions you can think of to ask. Have you had children because sometimes this happens after having children. It can also be age related. You want to find out what are the treatment options for you - medication or surgery. If he/she can't give you the answers, ask to see a specialist. Good luck and keep us posted

I wish you all the luck for Friday's appt, I hope they can find some answers for you. It's never fun having to wear adult diapers.
