I am substantially overloaded and undervalued, I am carrying out an amount of work that should be carried out really by two (the manager knows that).

I do not want to just see one of my coworkers who I cannot avoid because we are in one office and have some common work, he has extensive hatred and jealousy feelings towards myself from both the personal and professional aspects, backstabbing me and he really hates me so much although I was always so kind to him, he is very toxic and evil.

This job started to affect me mentally, physically and phcsycologically.

I cannot afford going to my work even one more day.

No alternative job yet, but I want to get rid of the job till I find another one, I really fed up.

Look for a better job! I've been in toxic jobs before and there's really no reason to stay. There's good people in the world! You just have to find the right place for yourself. Keep looking, you'll find it.

I would only advise you quit should you be able to afford to not have the job until you find another. Finding a new job can be tough in this economy as well, and employers do like to see that you currently have a job as well!

Many thanks for your brief and to the point advice.

Actually I tried to make the topic as short as possible, while picture is really darker than you believe.

That coworker and the mentality of the people their are horrible.p
I am so miserable, life is always tough with me.

The coworker will not leave me live in peace even if I left the job, he has extensive hatred feelings towards me, he has a clear inferiority complex.

I met a lot of people I was always recognized as a kind, decent and helpful person, never faced someone like him, he is the kind of person who abuse any kind one he meets.

I'm also struggling with work. Super ****** coworkers that tattle on things I'm not responsible for. When I or my supervisor correct them, they become more ****** to me because they've been proven wrong. Thank goodness for my supervisor, but it's a daily struggle that is wearing me down.

I am also stressed, on a daily basis, at my job. I have had to marshal resources in my personal life, clean up my diet, pay special attention to my sleep patterns, reach out to friends, see a therapist, and learn techniques for self-calming.

None of this was needed just two years ago in this same job. The whole configuration of this organization has changed around me. I'm a very left-leaning person who NEVER injects my politics into my work, but I am managed by right-wing EXTREMISTS. I don't mind people of any political stripe as long as they treat people fairly. But our Board of Directors are ideologues who use name-calling, power plays and secrets to abuse those who don't agree with them.

I no longer feel safe.

But the benefits of the changes I've made (see above) have been enormous. Going on "auto pilot" in a safe environment where I was valued and appreciated was the Beginner's Class. Now I am in the Advanced Class. I've learned how to be diplomatic and centered in the midst of poisonous chaos.

Each day, I read the words of the Dalai Lama: "Do not Allow the Behavior of Others to Destroy your Inner Peace."

It's that simple. But it sure aint easy.

I'm sorry you're in such a toxic environment; but what do you mean? do you think this person is going to try to stalk you after you leave? Dooes this coworker have access to your address or other contact information?
