The lost hours for stupidity. Lack of planning and cancelations. So glad I have a new job

I’ve been falling asleep while working again. I feel like I’m in a pickle sort of because I can’t drink coffee at least the way I like it because I am also dieting. But then the sleep attack’s happen if I don’t drink coffee. So do I want to be skinny or do I want to be successful at my job and my thinking is a bit skewed and I honestly want to be skinny. Not saying I don’t want to be successful. But I’m sure I can do both.

Work wasn’t bad today. My coworker wasn't too friendly. She gets in these types of moods which I don’t really get. She was just hard to talk to. She has some sort of different emergency going on every day it seems. I was in a good mood myself I was just a bit nauseated.

I wonder what my boss will say about me leaving the company. It's a small company..... With NO benefits.

New job had benefits and stress

What is with my boss pretending to be stupid? He was out today and I emailed him a few small emails. Each one he played who's on first with. I mean if he doesn't want to be disturbed don't answer but don't waste my time. I literally rushed home to see an answer from him (because I can't compose well on the road) and at a certain point I had to just give up because his answers didn't make any sense.

For me it's the other way around. It's impossible to explain things to my boss. She is normally so dense you have to explain the same things multiple times, multiple ways. I don't think it's me, since I don't have issues like that with my other co-workers. Also, in the group chat I see co-workers having the same problem trying to explain things to her.

I’m really worried about tomorrow after what happened yesterday. My symptoms are just getting worse and I was sleeping a lot today. I don’t know if I’ll have to tell work anything but my therapist has told me what to tell them if they ask. I just hope they understand.

The boss assigned me to develop three new designs for three new products. Meanwhile, they also assign me to do the marketing props for newly released product. I also have to do a few ****ing revision for more than 30th times because they keep changing what they want and need to add. They want everything to be finished this week. Told them it's impossible, but they didn't care. Well, they never care anyway.

Now the big boss acts like, "I don't know what I want, but I'll tell you when I see what I like. I won't give you any response until you show me something interesting."

It's so frustrating. They urge me to work fast, but in the end, they'll halt it for a long time until they're ready to release said products. Why? Because it's impossible for them to release a lot of ****ing products in the same time!

I want to ****ing quit so badly.

I didn’t really talk much to anyone today I got annoyed at a coworker when I started my shift but besides that I was unusually quiet. The only time I kind of talked was when my coworker came back from the bathroom and said someone had left a big gross mess in there. It’s always fun wondering who’s going to have to clean up those types of messes.

Again the other person is being an idiot, and cutting my hours. I lost 3-5 hours today. I'm in danger of losing more time before gaining it back with the new job. But the people do not understand. It's all about them. I am so pissed off about losing hours. It makes life a bit harder. And I have bills to pay. No wonder I need to change jobs.

I am heading off to my vacation next week, but NEED One.

Here is a question... am i right? We have a scheduling program that we put our leave dates in. My boss has all of next week listed as him being out. One reason I picked it for vacation. This is the same boss who is constantly asking me why I don't take more time off.

After telling everyone in the building -- everyone -- that he wouldn't be around... last night, at 4 pm, not only does he tell me he will be around next Friday but, he schedules something... now I have to get coverage.

Coverage at the last moment, during the time of year when everyone is on vacation.

Here is the truth...I feel like I have worked really hard for him since the get go. My review just came back again "exceeds expectations" -- and I got a bonus. And I feel like because that has happened now... he take me for granted. Whatever he says there is not consequence for because I handle it OR he makes me the fall guy.

I don't know how I am going to make it 10 more years.. I just don't know how.

I have yet another cancellation...... I hate cancellations!!!!! Especially without a call or text. The client leaves me in wonder. I deserve better!!!!! At least my next job is more hours and less waiting around for work to begin. No wonder why I am leaving.

My ride was going to be half an hour late as it almost always is on Fridays. I was trying just to sneak out when my shift was over but my manager saw me and said “mountaindewed, your ride is going to be late again so you can stay right?” So I kind of had to say yes. But they only ever ask us to late on Fridays.

My prediction is right. I can't finish them all this week.

I managed to finish all the revisions, including the one with over 30th changes. I've sent them to the printing vendors. I hope those vendors print them quick, before the bosses change their mind again.

I haven't done the marketing's props yet. I sent 3 concepts to the supervisor, but I haven't received any reply. I even reminded him, but he was too slow and consumed by the other work. It saved me a little time to do other work.

I've done one of the three new products much better than I expected. Yes, there will be revision for this one (and everything else), but it'll be on next week.

This happens on the second product. I haven't finished it, obviously. I can't figure what he wants. I followed the reference he gave me. I even consulted to the supervisor about this. My supervisor had no idea too. And he still refuse to give me any answer.

For the third product, I intentionally made ugly but quick design. I know it's bad and hurt my review. but how could I focus and finish them all in such short time with satisfying result? I have to sacrifice this one or I'd mess all of the projects. Besides, they'll probably release it next year.

The thing that irate me the most was another supervisor who kept asking for my help despite knowing that I have tons of tasks.

I'm glad it's weekend. I still have to work on my freelance project, but at least I can escape those horrid work life for a while.

I’m kind of nervous about work. I don’t know why. I guess i’m just worried I’ll have another sleep episode. I also haven’t dealt with that manager that was there when I left early last week.

I'm SO unhappy at work. My boss dumped social marketing on my plate when I expressed an interest, but I certainly didn't ask him to make me in charge of the whole thing! He suddenly put me in charge, and now I am in a very uncomfortable position because I have NO clue what I am doing, with zero business experience behind me for social. What an A-hole. So this morning I am totally anxiouos and I plan on asking him to take this off of my plate.

They started to call me a slow worker. I imagined myself shouting, "I'm quit" and walking away.

Management put me somewhere else today for the first time in over a year. My coworkers finished everything without me today. Usually it takes until tomorrow to finish everything. I feel like **** now because I feel like it’s my fault we’re not getting stuff done since they are obviously getting it done without me but not with me. I’m sure management has noticed. I have no idea what will happen. I’m worried I’ll be put somewhere else permanently.

Yet another cancellation, just 4 more shifts until my next company. And stress level is high

While I appreciate the lack of responsibilities and abundant free time I have at this job, I do wish I was assigned a tad bit more work and work that was meaningful. However, this is a temporary situation so I am not too concerned.

I wonder how safe it is going to be for us to be working tomorrow and Friday when the heat index will be 112.

My coworker was complaining about how she didn’t want to work tomorrow and how she was going to just ask if she could not come in. That seems pretty stupid. If you want to try to get the day off you have to try a subliminal approach. It’s not guaranteed to work but outright asking for the day off seems foolish.

It doesn't get any better. They know I have tons of tasks ahead, but they still added more projects on me. They told me to finish them all quick

I try to work as fast as possible, but NAH! I refuse to rush everything up. It reduces the quality of my work and also makes me lose my sanity. It's not my fault; it's them. They're out of their minds. Developing three products with 2 days deadline (along with other projects) are crazy to start with. I did get extension, but it won't enough with more projects come asking to be done first.

Moreover, there is one particular supervisor who asked me to do his project first, but he took 4-days vacation while I have work on his project. I refused. I put his project on the end of my priority despite his plea. I have more urgent work to do and he MUST wait for the queue. I won't give any special ticket on him anymore. The last time I worked on his project first, I got tons of additional works. Anyway, this is the same supervisor who urged me to work at home when I was sick a few weeks ago.

Ugh is all I can say. Work is the bane of my existence.

I drove by work yesterday on my day off because I was going that way anyways and I didn’t see that coworkers car. I guess she must have called off because she didn’t feel like coming in. Real mature. Also this one coworker and I had been friends kinda but I didn’t really like her so I was just pretending to like her and then she quit texting like 3 weeks ago but I didn’t actually realize it and it literally took me until last night to realize she had ghosted me 3 weeks ago. Now I only have the one to deal with thank god.
