hi, i'm used to posting in the depression forum, but i thought this fitted in better here is this a panic attack? i've had two really horrible rushes of anxiety and not feeling well over the past couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone could tell me if they are panic attacks. i just got back from a "holiday" up at my parents place and i was not at all happy was a teenager, had a mild form of chronic depression and an eating disorder and i cannot stand my mother . since moving out i made alot of progress and have been well for about four months. but when i arrived at my parents and my dad picked me up from the airport, we were driving back to their house to see my mother and i was worried about that...then i started feeling all faint and dizzy and i had a bad headache. i was really tense and felt like i was about to be sick. got the same feeling when i was on my way back home and they were driving me out, my parents had just had a fight and they were on my case about getting a good summer internship secured. almost vomited again once i got out of the car and i am not prone to car sickness so i doubt that's it...so do u think it could be the effect of seeing my mother bringing back bad feelings?

YES............... it sounds like you might have been having a panic attack from the thought of returning to a place that once brought you much pain and suffering - not to mention having to see your mother again.
Please know that if you have resolved issues / feelings still living with in you that they will be resonated by people and places until they are faced, dealt with and then healed.

LoVe,
Rhapsody - is this a panic attack?
