And? Read some of the posts here on anxiety. Anxiety can cause you to feel all kinds of physical sensations. Anxiety can lead people to believe they have every disease and condition imaginable.

I've had panic attacks like those, first time it scared the shyt outa me and made me hyperventilate even worse, but the nurse (this happened at work) assured me its common. Thankfully I had very few of those and haven't even had a panic attack in agesssss

Oh thats normal. Ive had tingeling & numbness in my face from panic attacks. I dont know why that happens, but it does. Try not to worry about it cause worry makes it worse

When someone experiences a panic attack, typically they are hyperventilating, which causes the numbness and tingling you experience. The wave of emotion that is experienced makes breathing not the priority, but if you can, coach yourself to slow your breathing down and that will help alleviate the numbness and tingling

I have read about hyperventilation syndrome but I still find it hard to believe that the hyperventilation is responsible for the tingling on my hands that begins as soon as I am anxious and can occur immediately after being startled. The more anxious I get, however, the more the sensation stretches across my body, so maybe that is a result of the breathing.
But yes, I experience a numb face during a panic attack often. The first few times I was convinced I was having some absurd allergic reaction.

I thought was a drug interaction with this protein powder I started. it has unknown ingredients in it. i started out normal then I started to feel good then I startsd getting anxious. then I looked up prozac on wikipedia. then I saw dystonia. I was not hyperventalating. I called 911 then cancelled it. it took some time for the numbness to go away.

Consider the effect of stress on your neurological connection points (ie: spine) this would lead directly to pain and numbness to the extremities.. An anti - inflammatory might help relieve the numbness - and over time perhaps you might get imaging done on your lower spine (Lumbar) as well as cervical (neck). The gones in the spine could be impinging on the nerve roots.
