I'm taking a break from school right now, but I'm still anxious. I'm *more* anxious.

I need relief. I'm scared. I should stop drinking tea, it's probably not helping.

I'm really anxious, I don't know how to handle this. I feel like I'm going to die.

Will alcohol help? I'm desperate.

OMG I'm still freaking out. My mouth is really dry. I had a lot of soup today. I had twice the max recommended amount of salt today. Am I going to die? OMG I'm freaking out. Salt poisoning?

I feel like I'm going to die.

I just took 1 mg Risperdal and 50 mg of Benadryl. I hope they help. I don't have anything for anxiety.

I hate this. I'm freaking out!

Hi Greenleaves

Hope you're feeling a bit better now? I suffer from anxiety too so I can relate to how you feel I think

With regards to the salt, I think you would have to have a LOT more than twice the recommended daily intake to do yourself any harm...I used to eat salt out of the shaker as a kid cause I liked the taste and it never did me any harm so I'm sure you'll be okay! If you're still worried give your doctor a call

Anyway, hope you're okay now

Remember to breathe hon.....slowly in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth.....try concentrating on the breathing...that may help you to cleanse your body and your mind a bit. Make sure the breathing is from your diaphram, not your lungs....feel your tummy rise and fall then you know it's right I'm really anxious, help me

Hello Grenleaves.
Try to calm down and try to go out an take a walk and get your mind off of the anxiey for a bit. Hopefully your meds will kick in and you will fel bettr soon. Listen to some music for a while if you can that is relaxing, and try to watch drinkingtoo much caffeine whle you are in this panic mode. Do you have someone that you can go and talk to or stay with until you fel better, maybe you can call someone and have someone come over and stay until you feel better. Have you called your Dr to let the dr know how you are feeling? The DR may need to adjust your meds sothatyou can feel better Greenleaves. There is a hotline number you can call as well if you need to talk to someone in person. 1-800-273-TALK. Ihope you feel better soon Greenleaves. Take care soidhonia

Hi Greenleaves...

When I get out of hand I usually call my doc and he gives me a shot and I *try* to sleep it off... I also have a list of activities prepared that soothes me for when i get axious, and then I try to do one of these things...

Or else I just start cleaning... but that opens a whole new can of worms, as I am OCD as well... But I think you should call your doc... he might know how to help you best, or call the number that Soidhonia gave you... Talking to someone will help a lot...

Hey Greensleeves,

The things you're telling yourself are freaking you out. Tell yourself other things. Tell youself the Risperdol and the Benadryl will work and you will feel calmer very soon.

Here's a guided imagery/meditation you could try right at your computer. It's called Secret Garden is free, and though it says it is 29 minutes, the time goes by like 5 minutes and can leave you very relaxed. I hope it helps if you decide to try it: www.meditainment.com.

Breathe...I'm really anxious, help me

Thanks everyone. So far I'm feeling OK today. It's a little after 6:40 pm right now.

While in bed last night I tried to imagine pleasant things. It helped a bit.

I'm so glad you're feeling better! It is SO exhausting to go through those times. Sometimes I feel dragged out for days after.

I hope you continue to feel good!

Glad you are feeling better. I don't know if you are still considering whether the tea was partially responsible for your anxiety. I switched to decaffeinated (which was very hard for me) and now whenever I do drink tea with caffeine I can get very anxious and sometimes even have sort of a hot flash. I've pretty much decided I have to stick to decaffeinated.
