I'm quite happy right now with things in my life ... I only wish that I could get rid of this anxiety when it comes to jobs, tomorrow i'm going to a job interview that I don't even want!!! ARGH Anxious about tomorrow :o( I'm stressed out about that. Applyed at a health club, and now they are interviewing me for a sales rep job, and I don't want to be a sales rep- people like that annoy me when they try to sell you things, and I don't want to be one of those people, I was hoping she wouldn't call me back for a one on one

My anxiety is a bit less, actually gone for the time being, but I do NOT want to go tomorrow. Of course I'll be really anxious come the morning, and I'll want to back out and say F it, but I wont I'll get it the benefit of the doubt and see what it's about, I don't HAVE to take it. Might be good money, but why do something that I don't want in the first place right? Does that make sense?

I know how you feel about sales jobs. YUK! When I was able to work, I avoided them like the plague for the same reasons you don't want this job. But just think of this job as being a stepping stone. You'll be talking to lots of people and who knows what great job you might find that way!

Something else to think about, too, is that you don't HAVE to be pushy about it. If what you're selling is good enough, then it will sell itself. All you have to do is make the people aware of what's available.

And then again... you may not get the job and you've worried for nothing! LOL

Well I decided not to take the job, or go for the interview. I've done sales before but only retail, in stores selling clothes and lingerie. There is alot of on the phone stuff, and I don't want to be one of those people that hassle and annoy people into getting memberships, cause I know those people annoy me so I don't want to be one of them. I don't regret cancelling the appt. I didn't want to go to begin with, and I should have talked to her earlier but then there was a mix up. Cause they called my house twice to confirm (but i'm here at the bf's place) and both my dad and sister said ok for me, when they should have gotten them to phone me here so at least I could talk to them, know what I mean?

Ah well I just hope she gets the message that I left at the front desk this morning, I don't want to burn this bridge incase something else comes up on a later date.

It feels good to be off the fence, doesn't it? Anxious about tomorrow :o( I probably would have done the same thing. I hate telemarketers and would refuse to be associated with them. LOL I think it boils down to doing what you believe in. It would for me.
