I would discuss this with the Dr that prescribed you the meds, if you haven't already. If it's not working for you it may be time to adjust dosage or try a new med.

Have you tried Mindfulness/Grounding techniques? They are supposed to help with anxiety. I've has some success with some of them, but am bad at sticking with them and recognizing when I need to start using them.

I have really bad panic attacks. What has helped me most is meds and therapy. I also try really hard to focus on mg breathing when having one.

I hope you find a solution that works for you. Panic attacks are aweful.

I practise mindfulness. I concentrate on things like where I am, what I am holding, what I am touching, etc - and my relationship to them. For instance I may be on a bus. I concentrate on everything from the cold touch of the bars and rails beneath my fingers to the feel and texture of the upholstry to the rivets holding it together and so on. Maybe I am holding a pair of gloves - what do they look like, what do they feel like, I imagine how they were stitched together and on and on.

cold air, cold water, or an ice pack on you forehead or neck can slow it down before it gets too bad. Take calming breaths. When I feel faint, I lie on the floor with my feet up. I try to remind myself that although I am acting very frightened, I am safe, and that the feeling will pass. I try to remember that I'm going through a difficult stage in life, but that I will adjust and overcome. Every new feeling of a panic attack scared me, which made the panic attack worse. Breathing, temperature change, reassuring thoughts, getting in a safe position to recover are the things that help me. Also, try to embrace something that comforts you, a memory, a picture, a pet, person, pillow, etc.
I'm sorry you are dealing with this! In my experience, they get shorter and less intense after you've worked through the thoughts/feelings that are causing them. Shortly after you've experienced the worst of them, notice how you can feel quite normal again (although unhappy you're having panic attacks).

I don't have a cure for panic attacks, but I found knowing the mechanics of them can help. Also, knowing it will pass soon helps you endure. You might want to read up or talk to your doc or therapist about what is happening in your body when you have an attack.

I hope you find relief soon.

I'm sorry to hear you are highly anxious and suicidal. Can you distract yourself or take a nap? Sometimes those things help. Also there is a crisis text line 741 741 where you type hello and you text with a crisis counselor. I hope you start feeling better soon.
Thanks for this!
