Thanks, Mountaindewed--I knew there was a (yet another) reason I liked RuPaul. 'Addiction to anxiety' sure makes sense. I never made sense of it this way either, but there must be some sort of payoff, if only familiarity, right? . . . I think your point about food also makes sense. Sometimes when we feel we have to eat 'healthy,' it takes so much effort that it too could add to our anxiety.
Have a low-anxiety day (and I'll try to do the same)!

Hello, BreakForTheLight-- I'm retired, but when I worked I found that anticipating the dreaded alarm clock added to my anxiety and made it harder to sleep. I therefore always made sure I had as soothing an alarm sound as possible and as gentle an option (snooze, for example). I still hate alarm clock sounds--but I hope someday to see them as the supportive little helpers they can be.

My anxiety has not been good. I have taken half a klonopin in the morning and the other half in the afternoon. I'm listening all day to guided meditations

My anxiety has been a 9.5 out of 10 consistently since midnight. No clue as to why. I’ve had Xanax and visteral. I didn’t even want to go out for steak and lobster for lunch and that’s real bad.

My anxiety was moderate this afternoon, causing irritability toward my mother. I always feel worse after I respond poorly to minor situations. Fortunately, my mom is used to all of that by now, so she did not take it personally after I explained the cause and apologized. I'm feeling a bit better tonight because everyone else has gone to bed and I'm listening to my music while working on a few tasks.

My anxiety was mild. My doctor office called me not that long ago and I thought they are probably calling me on how I was doing, but instead they say my visit from December was not covered by my insurance since it was terminated.

Nothing helps my anxiety anymore. Visteral Xanax nothing. Plus now I’m getting these really bad stomach aches. This is like how my anxiety was back when I was a teenager and young adult. That, I learned was med related. Once I switched the meds the severe anxiety went away. The only med change I’ve had recently was an increase in topamax.

I swear these stomach aches are work related. Yeah I stopped watching the news too. they said an asteroid was going to hit close to earth this past Saturday. It was still going to be pretty far away but they were calling it a “near miss.” Why scare everyone like that when it was still millions and millions of miles away? I ignored the news all day Saturday so I had no idea when it passed.

But there have been these scary noises outside the past 2 days that have caused the house to shake and stuff in the China cabinet to rattle. Bizarre.

My anxiety wasn’t bad today. I was a bit moody but therapy helped that. My anxiety was just really mild though. At work too.

My anxiety is slightly sucky right now. Thank goodness for the 180 Xanax I just got from the pharmacy.

It was really sucky last night, I couldn't stop being anxious until I went to sleep. I wake up with fear every morning I managed to do some mail. I have just taken a 2 hour nap

My anxiety was bad in certain situations at work, well most of the day. Is worry the same as anxiety and what if a person is tense and worried. Really I am chilled, but certain situations cause anxiety and worry.

My anxiety has been really low today. Almost non existent. I just took my one maintenance Xanax. I didn’t take my visteral. I got my flu shot without having a meltdown and thinking I was having a reaction.

kinda anxious about this party tomorrow, but getting tired. Hopefully I'll sleep well and everything will be good. A little relief when I found out there will be bathroom stops along the way of this long drive (one of my biggest worries is where's the bathroom. sigh!) Anyway, gonna get off this now so I can hopefully be well for tomorrow. feeling a little nauseated and i fear it's from too much screentime. If i get sick and miss the party, hubby will be disappointed and i'll be depressed. Hopefully, that won't happen tho.

Good night (or day) everyone!

I had voltage Mountain Dew for the first time in forever. At least since I started my Xanax in September 2018. I thought the ginseng in the MD wouldn’t work well with the Xanax. But I decided to risk it and my anxiety has been blah but not terrible. And the Mountain Dew had no affect because this isn’t caffeine anxiety but just typical daily life anxiety. Possible PMS anxiety as well. Overall it hasn’t been terrible though.
