Gosh I guess I get the panic from my mom who used to panic if anything got in the house. One time I had a giant moth in here and I was scared of it, even though they don't sting like bees.

And the bigger they are the more freaked I am. Those big black beetles or dragonflies send me running!

Coping well, and chipping away at inner obstacles; inner obstacles etched into my very mind. Half way through year now and far better off than at start of year. Half of it is about accepting my reality and the other half is about managing it and encouraging inner growth. Best yet to come, I can see it. Thank you.

I hear you on dragonflies and raise you preying mantises and skeeter eaters. Both of those things are terrifying.

Which is why insects are almost always in horror movies.

They are scary looking, even if harmless to us! And it's probably why aliens in sci-fi movies resemble large insects too.

One time a Daddy Long Legs was on the lid of a cereal container. I didn't notice at first but when I did, I started screaming and dropped the container.

That made the lid pop off and cereal spilled onto the floor. Thankfully it was dry cereal and not the hot, cooked kind. That would have been hard to clean up. Even though they are supposed to be mainly harmless, I'm more scared of spiders than anything I think.

Back to anxiety.......having those creatures around me make me anxious, especially since they outnumber us by a LOT.

Same here. Living alone doesn’t really do me any favors in terms of insects/spiders.

That's why, when I used to eat lunch outdoors, I covered the soda can with a lid that protected it from insects, yet you could still drink from it. It was made specifically for that kind of can and purpose. The sugar attracts them.

Went to ER on July 4 cause bad anxiety attack. Couldn't sit still in the ambulance and EMTs had to talk me thru it.

I’m doing well. Added 50mg of Seroquel xr and it’s really helped with my anxiety.

I thought I might have bipolar. I did get diagnosed with bipolar in 2018 when I had a normal blood panel. I had severe issues with sleep for a period of two years. Going a couple days without sleeping at a time. My current doctor thinks my thyroid and parathyroid is a culprit.

However when I was a champion insomniac I had normal blood panels.

Just got thru another episode, thank god it stopped. Couldn't catch my breath and couldn't sit still. All I was thinking about were my problems.
And my house is so humid, can't stand it.

I have an appointment with my psychiatrist today.

That should be a good thing, but I really, really don’t want to worry her with my problems.

I know it’s her job and that she’s seen and heard it all, but I’m afraid that if I tell her how I’m really doing, she might like…assume things.

People elsewhere are assuming the writers strike is going to make Drew leave the show and it’s just making me even more anxious.

I mean, I’m already unsure if I’m going to watch because of the move, but if Drew leaves…that’s it. No more TPIR for me.

My klonopin is wearing off as usual. I've taken it most of my life and every other medication. Don't know what to do! Nothing helps.
