I am finally going to end my Zoloft. I have been on it since the first week of January, and I feel i am ready to say goodbye to the drug. Its going to be weird only taking one pill a day, I wish I could cut that one out too; but that is my synthroid for my underactive thyroid. I am happy to say I dont have a "drug cocktail" anymore.

I finished taking my zoloft exactly 9 months after I started taking it, my doc told me to stay on it for 9 months and she said " as long as you have no 'episodes' you can stop taking it. So I did because I hate taking pills that deal with your brain, especially the side effects it can have.
I was lucky and I had no episodes, I slowly weaned myself off it and had a little bit of a weird feeling especially when I turned my head to look behind me, I took it as a withdrawl symptom because after a month it was gone.

So good for your for not neeeded it anymore!

I've been off that med for a few months now. I'm glad of it too.

I take herbal remedies now .

I don't do drugs that play with the brain.

I'm a Zoloft survivor. I was on it for 2 years. I had to continually increase the dosage until my body said 'enough!' and rejected it altogether.
