I'm very low. If I get a bit lower I'll be in trouble. I'm so tired of this. I've been taking my meds faithfully and doing things and trying to divert my thoughts to good things--it's so much work but helps. But today nothing works and I'm too spent to do much of anything. I love to read and haven't been able to for about a week. There's nothing left to try. I went to bed super early last night hoping the dark and quiet would help. I just cryed until I fell asleep. All I want to do is sleep.

Life sucks right now.

I'm sorry.

I would call the pdoc, because something should be done about your mood state before you get into trouble.

I know it's hard when you have followed all the instructions to a T, and it still isn't working.

You can talk to us anytime.

Hello,

I'm new to this site and have recently been very low myself. I hate to see some one going through the same thing. I agree with the others that if you have a pdoc, which I assume means psychiatrist, you should see them. There's always the emergency room or a crisis line. Clearly you're willing to reach out, which is a good thing. Give yourself credit for doing that. Do what ever you have to to just keep going. It is so tiring but you know it could change, right? Very low for me has gone quickly to pretty ok. Especially when I don't project into the future, which is oh so hard not to do. All we can do is our best.
If you're anything like me these might just seem like useless words. But there is intent behind these words and it's a caring intent. I truly believe there is value to all life. We have no way of knowing how our lives touch others in a positive and life saving way. Something you have said or may say in the future could make a world of a difference to some one else.
You are a worthy person no matter what. Reach out please.
Peace,
Jason
Thanks for this!

(((journey upward))) i like your screen name. i know it is difficult when we do all the things we're supposed to do and still feel we are gtting nowhere. this sounds like a good time to call your pdoc. your meds may need tweaking to help get you back on track. i went through what you're going through now and sometimes i just wanted to give up, but we never know when we are minutes away from success. i hung in there and my life is so much better. sometimes the best we can do is to call the pdoc and say "help"! it doesn't mean you have failed, it usually just requires a med change or increase or decrease in dosage.
hope you will keep us posted on how youare doing, k? we do care about you.

Hi All,

I thank you for your replies. My Pdoc increased the Lamictal and I have been pretty "normal" for almost 4 days! I had my sister-in-law & brother in law visiting at my house (overnight) for the past 4 days and only had brief anxiety the second day. Friends came over 1 night with their 10 year old grandson to visit with us and my inlaws. I remained unaffected. How great is that! I hope we have found the right mix of meds and that this normal range will last.

Thanks for your concern,
JourneyUpward
