Overload. All of the systems crashed today so now, things are crazy. I want to cry so I keep just putting myself in break after one call for about 5-7 minutes to stay sane and I'm ruining my statistics. I hate that my job really relies on how fast I can do things.

Someone I look up to started a "What am I thankful for" thread.

I am thankful for the ability to calm myself down enough to stand another ten minutes.
I am thankful that my car is in good condition and reliable.
I am thankful that my friend and boyfriend are supportive.
I am thankful for my soft white sheets and pillows.
I am thankful for getting back to borderline regardless of my anxiety.
I am thankful for my Tdoc who cares enough to spend more time with me than I pay for and not cut corners when I need her.
I am thankful that I still have the right to choose how my condition will be treated and by who.
AND I am thankful that I'm not crazy like my pdoc and tell my patients that cervical cancer comes from enjoying sex instead of using it to reproduce...WOW.

Thanks for letting me vent guys.

Your pdoc really says that to patients? What a dickhead! (male or female). Does he/she not realize that most people even when they get married, at least one of the partners has had sex before, even in a committed relationship? How does that make cervical cancer somehow related to pleasure instead of reproduction? People can get the disease from having sex for the first time with their spouse for the purpose of having a child. What a ****ing idiot! I read somewhere that about 80-90% of the population has had the disease that causes cervical cancer at some point in their adult life. Chances are, no matter how Puritanical you are and hate sex, but love babies, you're going to get it anyway. ***hole!

But otherwise, I have to say, hanging on by my nails today at work too. My job depends on speed and accuracy as well, and on computers no less. Grinding my teeth down trying to get it all done.

Thanks for the mention. Argh...depression and anxiety and PTSD come even when you know what you're thankful for. It's weird like that. People tell you, "But you have so much to be grateful for..." Duh! That doesn't change my mental disorder or the chemicals and the lack thereof that are making me so miserable I want to be asleep...sometimes permanently.

Sorry for my rant. I'm still in a volatile mood today. The bright side: I didn't burst into tears or go into a rage today.

It's gonna be okay. (no speculation on when, though)

male. he's really odd, but he put me on lithium, and though I'm still not stable, I think he saved my life.

They are giving the Gardasil shot to prevent HPV which leads to cervical cancer. It does not prevent all types of HPV OR cervical cancer. TheGardasil shot should not be used as a substitute or prevention against cervical cancer or the HPV virus.

Haha, you just sounded like a TV commercial absolving itself from potential litigation. Gardisil is not intended to treat or prevent what it's been made for to treat and prevent. Just pay up and hope you don't get HPV. (I know that's not what you were saying and I also know it can only prevent 1 or 2 kinds of the disease, just funnin' you.)

Did you ever see that SNL fake commercial called Happy Fun Ball? The warnings were hysterical. While all these "kids" (Mike Meyers and Dana Carvey among others) are playing with the ball joyfully "It's happy. It's fun! It's hapy fun ball!" the voice over says, "Warning, happy fun ball may cause dizziness, headaches, nausea, hair loss....
"Happy fun ball is made from a glowing substance that fell from the sky...

You get the idea.

shanks. I'm glad no one witnessed how psychotic i was in therapy today.

I aspire to be a writer for the Daily Show or Colbert Report or even create my own one online.

Warning:
may cause silliness, satire of public officials, mockery of famous figures, and witty repartee with guests who exist only in my head...but at least I have an endless supply of material. (those are the people in my noggin all vying for my attention at once)

I'm glad you approve. I invite you to be one of my minions in my quest for world domination through crap-your-pants-spray-your-drink-through-your-nose hilarity.
