These mixed episodes are starting to cause problems. I rapid cycle, and the last couple days have been a roller coaster ride from h**l. I'd be in my car driving and making sound effects (like the commercial where the little pig is "whheee"ing out the back window of an suv) when turning a corner or slowing down quickly. Then by the time I got home a few hours later I was feeling both depressed and hyper at the same time. Several things I kept thinking about that needed to be done, but never took the initiative to even start.
I don't see my new T for another week. But it's starting to feel like everything I've bottled up for the last 15yrs is starting to surface. It's getting rather scary. Not knowing how I'm going to react to things. And the isolation this week probably isn't helping. ![]()

After a year of researching and saving money, I got a wii & wii fit. Hoping it will get me back into my exercise routines again. But just have to calm down enough to rearrange my room and hook the thing up

Great idea to get into a routine of exercise.
Wondering if you can set up an emergency appointment with your T. And have you spoken to your pdoc about what you are going through? Is it possible for him to tweak your meds? Mixed episodes are draining and hard to live with, but please know that it will pass. Things will settle and you'll be back to your normal self. Keep yourself occupied, but don't forget to take a break and have "me" time. Go gentle on yourself and get enough sleep - I know that can be hard when you are bouncing off walls ![]()

What helps me sometimes is to make lists of all the stuff I want to do, and tackle the easiest stuff first. Usually I will be able to wind down a bit by focusing on something easy that I want to do. Anything physical from cleaning the floor, doing dishes, organizing drawers or arts and crafts helps to get my mind less cluttered and distracted from the negative thoughts.

you might be experiencing anxiety of seeing the new T soon. I find when it comes time to visit the Pysh D or T I tend to get anxious and everything goes out of wake. Take a big breath. Everyone has great ideas to put all that energy to good use. Sweat it out! :-)

Its starting to feel like the "high" is wearing off some, so hoping to get some sleep tonight and actually want to get out of bed tommorrow. Almost didn't this morning.
