I am all over the place. I was sad yesterday, I spoke to my Support Worker and he said I looked sad. I left him and had lunch with my Sister and I told her I felt sad today. I came home and was feeling sad still. I became severly Manic and was doing stupid things and kinda have put myself in a situation where I wish I can just ignore. Then I became really sad again. I started feeling suicidal and wanted to take extra Meds at bedtime. So I chose to do a sensible-ish thing and NOT take them. I wanted to also hurt myself but didn't.
I don't know what is going on.... I saw my Support Worker today and I nearly told her but I just couldn't. What is wrong with me? So I guess I am just wanting someone to say it's all going to be ok?! ![]() ![]() |

I have had those days so know you are not alone in this roller coaster of emotion. I am glad you made the choice not to hurt yourself. You are worth more than much fine gold! It is hard sometimes to tell people what we go through, if I are not embarrassed about it it makes me feel shameful or even crazy. Which I do know where these feelings come from it doesn't make me feel any better at the time or even later. We are here for you.
And yes ma'am: it is all going to be okay, its a cycle, just hang in there! |

If this cycling continues you should consider contacting your pdoc and/or tdoc.

Maybe you are having a mixed episode? You should probably call your pdoc, and if you are having thoughts about taking too many meds, only keep one or two doses in the house and give the rest to a friend or family member to hold on to.

hope you can find the words to tell your support worker or pdoc whats going on.
rjaimz is right it is a cycle and it will pass. Hang on until the urges to hurt yourself pass, but if it gets too much then please tell your family to take you to the ER where you can be safe. ![]()

Thanks guys,
I am feeling slightly better.... not fully ok but ok enough to crack a smile for my family lol. I sat out in the sun today. I had a ex-colleague who called me. I spoke to her for about an hour. That made me feel really good as I was close to her when I was at work. She is studying mental health at uni so she was able to talk to me too. She was actually a wee life saver. I had been taking several anxiety attacks in the house yesterday.... I just couldn't calm down. I came on here and chatted to people which I am grateful for ![]() |
