I said a goodnight story to my daughter while she was in bed. She loved it

I signed up to be a volunteer for a non-profit mental health organization! (not NAMI because they never returned my emails or calls...)

Must admit, first time read this thread thought it was a bit sacked. Sorry. Was in bad state at time. Today feelin in better place. [read some of the posts and tried to put some work into me thoughts. Worked out last two days and guess what. Feel better. More stable. Forget who wrote about that, but they were right.

Met up with a freind who recently turned toxic on me. This time went reasonably well. I did my best to avoid the triggers.

First time here. I listened to my body and slept a good portion of the day. I don't feel that good, but I'm not beating myself up over it.

I like that message of listening to your body
Very respectful of your self and your being

Thank you for sharing that

I have been struggling with depression. But I told myself maybe everything will be OK. My daughter is listening to me now. I think it is the compliment that I paid her about her freshly painted room.

I persevered this morning when I woke up at 3 AM and could not get back to sleep until after 4 AM, and my mind was stewing on things, not allowing me rest or peace--arrgggh. Inspiration came to just focus on one breath at a time and return to one breath instead of racing thoughts, and I finally managed to fall asleep again and slept in an hour to make up for sleep lost. Focusing on one breath at a time has helped me in the past, but I forget it too easily... I am grateful that I did it this morning to rest. One breath at a time...

Went to Sunday School, then church, then a craft fair with two friends. Met a 92 year old quilter.
