I wish I had an answer for you......mania is really too hard to control. I have never found a way to control my mania impulses. if I tried, I think I would explode. it is unfortunate that your parents are refusing to help you. I am glad you are meeting with someone at school. be very honest with them about how much you are suffering and how desperately you want help. I know the schools here intervene with parents to get help for children. I hope they can help with you. take care.

Sorry your feeling so low...

Bipolar typical doesnt change within minutes, but anything is possible. I do hope your able to get some help despite your parents being unwilling to help you.

Until you can get professional health .. Learn some coping skills to help you navigate the ups and downs ... Meditation, Mindfulness, health diet, Cardio or any intense exercise will help you burn off excess energy, Yoga . Good sleep hygiene.

Dont be worried if your Pdoc doesnt label you as Bipolar right off.. The main thing is to treat the symptoms . You dont want a Bipolar "label" unless it is necessary.

Take care

Hi, I know it can be difficult to control. I cannot control mine, BUT I am able to channel all that energy into something. Do you have any passions? I write ALOT when I'm "up", I have so many ideas. If you've got a bunch of ideas for anything, write them all down! I don't recommend going to any parties or anything like that, as you're probably likely to do some things you may regret.
Perhaps you could allow yourself a long, strenuous exercise
